Aph's POV:
I led him out of the tunnel and into the stunning daylight. There wasn't a cloud in the sky as I looked up to the mountains. As my head drifted back down again, I saw him staring straight back at me. We gazed into each other's eyes for what seemed like eternity, his glittering like newly formed ice over a lake. We stopped when we heard a noise coming from behind us, "APHMAU! YOU'RE BACK!" I turned around, just to see Katelyn's baby blue locks consume me, as she tackled me to the ground. "Ah! Katelyn!" I tried to push her off me, and all the while I could hear Garroth laughing in the background. "Common! Get off of me!" I whined.
"Fine," She said, and finally stood up again, "But, you're okay!" She then gazed past my shoulder, and her eyes seemed to pop out of her head, "You got Garroth back too!" I turned back to look at him, and he had a smile, despite his battered clothes. Katelyn ran up to him and hugged him, which he looked confused about, "You better treat her right mister," I suddenly herd her say in a dark voice, and I could literally see her hands tighten around his body, cutting off some of his circulation. I could see his face turning red, and I just stood there and giggled, until Katelyn finally let him go.
"Geez," he said, while gasping for air, "I think I almost passed out there." Me and Katelyn just started laughing uncontrollably.
"Katelyn," I said, after I had calmed down, "Sorry, but we need to get back to the castle..." She gave me an understanding look, "I get it, go ahead, lovebirds." I blushed and walked into the forest, Garroth close behind me.

"MOOOOOOOOM!" I ran into the sunroom, "MOM!" I was holding Garroth's hand as I stopped dead center of the room. My mother looked up from the papers she was writing, and ran over to me as soon as she realized who was with me, "Oh, my Irene!" She squeezed me almost as tight as Katelyn had to Garroth, "Sunshine, me and your father were worried sick!" I smiled and hugged her back, the best I could with all of my armor. She then let go, and turned to Garroth, "We are so happy to have you back young man." She said. He smiled at her, and then looked to me.
"Well," He said, "I think that I should get cleaned up..." My mom seemed to realize that she was holding us up, "Oh!" She said, "Of course!" She turned and ushered us out of the room, "Go. You obviously want to be together, lovebirds!" She closed the door once we were out, and Garroth laced his fingers in mine.
"Everyone seems to be calling us lovebirds lately." I said. He looked at me with a quizzical expression, "Don't you like it?" He questioned, "Because I think I do." I looked at him before his lips were brought to mine, "I think I do too."
