Garroth's POV:
I looked down into Aphmau's perfect, amber eyes as she laid there on the delivery bed. Her hair shone with sweat, and her face was covered with the stuff. She looked up at me as I kneeled down to her side, a warm smile tugging at her lips. As my gaze drifted to her arms, where I could see our first child wrapped up in a blanket, sleeping serenely.
I looked back into Aphmau's eyes to find she was staring into mine, "Oh, sweetie," I whispered, "He's beautiful," there were tears forming in my eyes as well as hers. "Levin." She said, choking back tears, "That's his name."
I looked down at the brand new bundle of life, his hands gently moving in his sleep. I looked once again at Aphmau. I remembered the time she had saved me from death, the time we had shared our first kiss, the time we had rediscovered our past, and so much more.
I cupped her face in my hands, using my thumbs to wipe away her tears of joy that were falling down her cheeks. I gave her a raw smile, and brought my lips to hers, making my heart explode into little bits, just like the first few times we kissed. When I pulled away, she was smiling as bright as the stars, and I was too.
We had gotten through so many things together, and I'm sure that we could get through this new chapter in our lives. And as I looked down into her beautiful face, I could tell that this was only the beginning in the best part of our lives.
