Aphmau's POV:
The halls were quiet except for the sound of my shoes walking along the corridor, clicking with every step. I was wearing a simple evening dress that I had also worn to dinner. It was one of my favorites, a dark, purple, wine color, with white puffy sleeves, and it had a section that started at the top, and was white with purple ribbon running in crisscrosses all the way down. The skirt was simple, and fanned out at the bottom to reveal white underneath. I suddenly felt a breeze and got the chills, and I walked faster to see what was causing this, to only find a door open.
As I looked to see what was inside, I caught Garroth standing at the balcony in his room. He was bent over the railing, looking out onto the land. I walked over and leaned on the balcony beside him. "It's beautiful outside tonight, isn't it?" he said, as he peered over the ocean. I looked over at him, before settling my view onto the sky above, "You know, I told all of my guards about Sasha. They should be looking out for her when they go on patrol...." He nodded his head, "So that is her name," he looked determined, "I wont let her do anything more to you, or I, or anyone, for a matter of fact." The wind swirled around us, and I contemplated what he meant. He then looked downwards, "You know, I used to be afraid of heights once..." But that was all I heard before my vision blurred before my eyes.
Third Person POV:
"Common! I wanna look at the ocean from up high!" The little girl pulled her friend's hand, as she ran to the balcony ahead of her. "Wait! But what if we fall?" The little girl's eyes sparkled brighter than any star, as she said, "Just hold my hand! I promise I won't let you fall!" The boy trudged along to the edge of the balcony, where the two were able to see the world for all of its beauty.
Aphmau's POV:
My eyes came back into focus, "Do you really say so," I could feel a grin spread across my face, "Look," he turned to me, full on, "I'm really glad that you are okay, I was worried that some how, I had done something, that it was all my fault. But seeing you here just makes me happy." I could see the grin on his face, his eyes sparkling like diamonds, and his hair shining like silver under the moonlight. The wind smelled sweet, it had the scent of mid-summer in the air, "I'm glad I could make you smile," I looked back at him, "But, I am afraid that I must get going back to my room. I have a few things to work on.
We started walking over to the door, "Well then," he said, "I guess I must see after one more thing, before you leave," he held his hands behind his back, a smirk lying across his face, "And what would that b-" But my words were cut off as his lips were held to mine, his soft hands caressing my cheek, and then he pulled away. I turned the doorknob, and before walking out said, "I'd like to do that again some other time," I smiled and walked back down the hallway, with confidence in every step.
