Aphmau's POV:

"Aph? Aph! Wake up, I need to talk to you." I quickly sat up, yawning and rubbing sleep out of my eyes, realizing who the familiar voice was. "Katelyn......" I said half asleep, "Wh-whadaya need?" She reached over and turned on the light, her teal hair being illuminated my the slight lamplight. "Kawaii~Chan said that you were worried about Garroth, are you ok?" "Don't you have patrol Katelyn?" I grumbled. I honestly didn't want to worry her about that. "DON'T BE SILLY!" she practically yelled, "I'm your friend, of course I should be allowed to worry about you!" "KATELYN!" I whisper screamed, "You'll get us killed!" We were now giggling with each other, "If you really want to know, I went through this, memory, essentially. I never knew I had it, and it looked like he was in it. It could've been someone else, but that only happened BECAUSE I saw him in the woods, when I found out about this whole thing, on my birthday."

She looked at me with concern in her eyes, "Why didn't you tell me this?" I pondered that for a second, "Well, I don't want to worry you. I just want to enjoy life." She looked at me with quizzical eyes, but stopped asking me questions. "Okay, just tell me if it comes up again. I nodded and she walked to the door of my room. "Let's go sneak around, I want some adventure for once." I rolled my eyes, "Are you literally trying to get us killed?" She turned around, placed her hands on her hips, and shifted her weight to one leg, making her hip pop up. "And what, your five and 'Mommy and Daddy are gonna put you in time out if you try and sneak out at night?' You're a woman now, Aph, get used to freedom." I sighed, and looked at her. She raised her eyebrows at me, and I got out of bed and we set off down the halls.

The moonlight was shining through the windows, giving the room a silver shine to it. We walked over to the huge overlook in the middle of the castle. I looked down to the common room below, the dust in the air being illuminated by the faint light. "Ya know," I said, "I'm glad we're friends." She gazed across the banister at me, "Why?" I gazed back at her, "We're a good match." I shifted my weight off the banister and tapped her shoulder, "Tag, YOU'RE IT!" I ran down the hallway, "AND IT'S OUR RULES!" "FINE!" She shouted. When we were little, she had thought it was unfair that she had no time to prepare, so we had made up the rule that the tagger had to wait 10 seconds before running. So while she was counting, I sprinted down the hallway until I ran into something, and fell down onto the ground.

"Oh my Irene, I'm so sorry, I'm still half asle-Aphmau?" I looked up to see Garroth standing in front of me. But suddenly, the night blended into morning, and a memory struck me.

Third Person POV:

Four kids sat in a circle on the carpet in the middle of the castle, all of them but one eagerly  holding presents, as one of them sat in the center, holding a box, with tissue paper strewn around her. "OOOOHHHHHH! APHIE! THIS BLUE IS PURFECT! THANK YOU! I can't wait 'til I'm ten, Momma will let me dye my hair a different color, like Ka- Kawi..... Well, like you! Your hair is so pretty, I wanna die mines blue!" The woman around the children laughed at her misuse of grammar (hint, hint, I know how to correctly use the word 'mine') , and continued to watch the children exchange gifts, and eat cake. When they were done the children decided to play hide and seek, and every one ran away to hide in different points. The girl with black hair and the boy with blonde hair ran off with each other, up the stairs.

"Ekkkk! Wait, I know where to go!" But in their rush, the children ran straight into a table, and knocked over a vase. "Oh, no, Momma and Papa will be so mad!" The boy reached to his back pocket, and pulled out a tube of glue, then turned to the girl, "A smart kid always comes prepared!" The girl smiled back him, and they repaired the vase and ran off to hide in a closet.

Aphmau's POV:

I looked up to see Garroth staring back at me reaching for my hand to help me from the ground. "Oh, no, it's my fault, I'm so sorry, I just- Look. We need to talk." As I stood up, he looked at me with a confused look, "I mean, you're the one I have to marry, and we were starting to become friends. My life sure is going to shit lately." He looked at me with an understanding, "Well, we could, try and get to know each other. I'd at least like to be friends with a girl like you." I could feel myself blush, just enough to be seen under the moonlight, just as Katelyn walked around the corner.

"WHOA, am I interrupting something here? Because if not, Ima have to ask you to move aside lover boy." She crossed her arms, and stared hard at him. "Oh, no, I am sincerely sorry, Miss...?" "Katelyn. Now, bu-bye, me and Aph have some business to attend to." As he walked off towards the bathrooms, he turned around to me and said, "Meet me in the courtyard after tomorrow's breakfast." As soon as he stopped talking, Katelyn ran for me, and I bolted down the hallway, being careful not to smash into any side tables as I went, but I soon learned that I wouldn't need to worry about that.

Because sure enough, when I felt my back pocket, there was a glue stick.

I had come prepared.

Author's Note:

Sorry this update is late, guys. It's just kinda hard when it's the day before Easter, your family wants you to make actual social contact with them or, ugh, actually go outside (CUE DRAMATIC MUSIC!), and in your free time all you can do is fangirl over MCD and Undertale, it's kinda hard to get a new update done. BUT I DID IT, THANK GOD! Anyways, see you tomorrow for a new update! Happy Easter eve, I'm off to read fanfics for MY own enjoyment!

Cya when I do,
