*Hayden*
"Stop it." Leroy hisses and grabs my arm. After things got pretty heated with me and Leroy, I went straight home with Leroy following behind me. There was no way I was going to live under the same roof as him anymore. So I start packing my stuff.
I yank my arm away from him, and stop in frustration. "Goddamn, Leroy leave me alone!" I say in a frustrated tone.
"Stop packin' your things then." Leroy looks at me, with his dark brown eyes and long lashes twinkling away. Did he really think, if he would look at me all pretty and cutely, I'd stop?
"Why? I hate it here." I growl, shoving my clothes into my backpack. "And I hate you." I say rolling my eyes.
"Where will you go? Huh? How will you survive on your own mamacita?" Leroy follows me around the room. The room was a mess, I was grabbing everything and anything I could find that would fit in my backpack. " And you don't hate me."
He was right, I had no idea where I'd go. Maybe find a nice hotel and live there? Like Serena Van Der Woodsen does.
"What's going on here?"
Me and Leroy both turn around at the female voice. It was Emily, great. Now she would try to stop me from leaving.
"She thinks she's leaving." Leroy raises his eye brow.
"Oh I do not think I am, I AM leaving." I barge past him, and empty my desk by swiping everything into my bag.
Emily walks closer to me, "That's ridiculous. Why would you want to leave?" Emily says with a confused look.
Me and Leroy stare at each other. I don't know Emily, maybe because your son is constantly breaking my heart. But I don't reply, I carry on putting things into my bag, I don't know what I'm thinking because this bag will not close.
"I'll deal with it, don't worry." I hear Leroy say to Emily, and Emily walking out.
I ignore him and grab the second bag to shove more things inside. Since I moved here, Emily has been buying me a ton of clothes, compare to now, I was poor before.
I feel Leroy's fingers wrap around my wrist tightly and my body being pulled back. Aggressively I try to yank my arm away from him, but his grip gets tighter. "That hurts, Leroy!" I growl.
"I'm barely touching you, Senorita. Jus' listen to me." He says pulling me towards my bed, and making me sit down.
I stop trying to escape, and finally settle down. I look around the room, it was a mess. Clothes everywhere, my belongings scattered around the ground like some junk. What did I do?
"Tell me, are you leavin' because of me?" Leroy asks, taking a seat beside me.
Is he an idiot? Why else would I be leaving. "No, that's ridiculous." I say in a light hearted voice. Leroy doesn't answer, he just stares at me. "Ok, yes it's because of you." I say sighing. "I can't deal with you, you hurt me so much Leroy, you always do." I say through gritted teeth.
He licks his lips, he was about to say something but he stops and nods his head tightly. "What about Matty?"
"Matty seems to like it here, I'll visit him." I shrug. "I'm seventeen, almost an adult, it's okay for me to be on my own." I roll my eyes.
"Hayden stop talking." Leroy demanded.
"What?" I say looking at him with furrowed eye brows.
"I like you." He says with his eyes on the ground.
I don't say anything, I don't move. Everything inside me stops, was I hearing right? "What?" I squeak.
"I love you Hayden, I always have." Leroy says sounding breathless. "Shit Hayden, I know you don't like me but I've kept it a secret for way too long." Leroy says.
