*Hayden*
"Hayden, come eat."
I growl, putting my straightener down, that was the third time Matty asked me to come eat breakfast. I did not want to sit on a table with Emily and the whole family and eat breakfast, not when I had to get ready and leave in ten minutes. I quickly apply some lipstick, before grabbing my backpack.
I ran downstairs, when I finally get downstairs I put my converses on. I really needed new ones, these were no longer white but brown. After putting my shoes on, I walk over to the kitchen. Everyone was eating, Leroy had his back towards the door so he didn't see me, I walk in and Emily acknowledges me with a small smile, Alex also smiles.
I walk over to the cupboard and grab a cereal bar and a water bottle from the fridge. "Hayden, why don't you eat proper breakfast? There's plenty of food." Alex says pointing at the table. Leroy looks up at me a the sound of my name, I look at him, he was eating a big breakfast which Julia probably cooked but it didn't look like he enjoyed it.
I'm sure Alex was forcing him to eat a big breakfast, so he could be energised for his tennis practice. But seeing Leroy be forced to do something he didn't want to angered me, why couldn't his dad just let him play basket ball? I sigh, Leroy has another few months left before he has to decide which scholarship he wants to choose.
I shake my head, "I'm going to be late, I can't." I say opening the cereal bar.
He nods. "Leroy, I've heard you've been keeping in contact with Bella, good. You need that scholarship." Alex says looking down at his paperwork.
My heart sinks at the thought of Leroy and Bella still talking, I look at Leroy with my mouth slightly open, I wanted to say something but I don't.
He looks back at me shocked, he get's up from his seat but I don't stay any longer, I chuck the cereal bar away and walk towards the exist.
"I already have scholerships, Hayden got them from me, I'll talk to you later about it." Leroy says in a hurry as he rushes behind me.
"She did what?" Alex asks confusedly. But Leroy doesn't respond, he continues rushing towards me, I hurry out the house so he doesn't reach me, but he does.
"Hayden, why are you mad?" Leroy asks, walking beside me now.
"Who said I'm mad?" I reply quietly.
"Hey Leroy."
My eyes turn to a couple of girls on the opposite street of us, I could recognise them from school but I wasn't sure who they were. Leroy waves at them briefly, I roll my eyes. This happened so often that I couldn't possibly be mad at Leroy, it wasn't his fault all the girls were in love with him.
"I'm not in contact with her." He says, I scoff. Sure he wasn't.
He hands me his phone, I hold it in my hand. "What?" I say.
"Look through my phone, you'll see the only person I text is you, the only pictures I have is of you, my phone background is you, its all you in there Hayden." Leroy says in quiet tone.
I gulp, I hand his phone back to him. "Look I trust you, I'm just being moody for no reason." I say, now feeling quite bad for making Leroy feel like he needs to prove himself to me.
He doesn't say anything but just looks at me. I place my hands in his and squeeze it, he smiles squeezing it back.
We get to school just in time for registration, Leroy takes a seat at the back of the class and I walk over to Eden. "Hey girl." I say grinning, it was the first time we had spoken since we saw each other, school started a day after new years.
