The cool morning wind surrounds us, leaving our bodies cool for a few seconds. This was the first time I felt cool air since I've been here, I slightly missed the weather back home. Me and Leroy sit by the edge of the roof, our legs dangling down from the top floor. There was no sound, other than our breathing, everything was still and perfect. I place my empty cup of coffee on the ground, and grab on to Leroy's elbow.

It had been three days since me and Leroy had seen each other, we texted a few times, but that was it. Emily had not spoken to Leroy about what happened, and Alex didn't kill Leroy which meant Emily did not tell anyone. It was almost seven AM, Leroy texted me to meet him and I agreed because I couldn't sleep. We found a building with a fire escape which led us to the roof, and Leroy thought it'd be cool to check it out.

"We're so high up, I wonder what would happen if we fell." Leroy mummers, with his eyes fixated on the few cars that were driving by below us.

"We'd die." I say with laughter in my tone.

"What If I fell first? Would you jump down with me?" Leroy asks, moving his head from the road and now to my face.

"Of course, I'd do anything for you." I say quietly, gazing into his eyes.

Leroy looks at me for a few seconds, the quiet noise in the streets fills our silence. "You're insane. You're like this kind of crazy girlfriend." He says, chuckling.

"What?" I say stiffly. "I thought what I said was cute." I pout, but immediately follow it by a smile, shuffling off the edge of the building from the fear of falling and onto a much safer area.

"You're really cute." Leroy teases, kissing my nose. "You know, you always look beautiful but I miss your oversized hoodies and converses." He shrugs.

"No, Leroy you miss it when I dressed like a boy and no guy gave me attention." I roll my eyes at him laughing. "I need to start making an effort for you now." I smile cheekily, walking out of the roof and into the staircase.

Leroy follows me. "Your oversized hoodies impress me, mamacita." He says pulling me back inside the roof, and pushes me against the wall softly. "I liked it a lot." He mummers, with a small smirk.

He places a kiss on my lips, before pulling away. "Let's go shopping?" Leroy asks.

I look at him with a furrowed eye brow, and then look at my watch. It had just turn 7:05AM."At this time?" I laugh.

"Yeah." He grins, grabbing my hand and running down the stairs with me.

We walk into the almost empty mall, with just a few people walking in and out of different stores. The stores had all open at six thirty, which was extremely early and crazy, but I didn't mind. It had just turned half seven in the morning. "Everything is really expensive in Australia apparently." I mumble to myself.

"Yeah, and we're rich." Leroy teases.

I roll my eyes, remembering in fact we are. Although I wasn't allowed to use the money which my dad gave us, I still had my savings from Alex's and Emily's allowances. After almost a couple months of living with them, I made quite a lot.

I look around the mall, all the decorations were a Christmas blue colour, and silver. It looked beautiful, but it made me think of home. Our Mall looked similar to this, only this mall was much bigger, and our mall was full of people we knew, like Eden, and Isaac who I was still mad at.

The last time I texted Eden was the first night I got here. It has been almost a week that we've been here, and I haven't heard from her. I guess everyone must be busy, as it is Christmas eve tonight. Speaking of Christmas, I still did not get Leroy a present yet, and I was completely confused about what to get him.
