After shift
Gabby's Pov
I went to pick up both of my kids from my friend's house. When we arrived at home I cooked dinner and helped them with their homework. After a while we went into the backyard and ran around. I let them around a little longer. While I was doing dishes I heard Kyle yelling my name and Lexus whimpering. I ran outside and saw my daughter has tripped and landed on a sharp rock that I had never seen before. Before I would flip her over Kyle told me that the thing went into her stomach. I ran in and called 9-1-1. When I got back. Outside the only thing I could do was watch my daughter and tell her it was going to be okay. When the paramedics and fire truck came they worked fast. When they got her on the gurney she started flat lining. I grabbed my sun and held him close as we both watched his sister be put in the ambo.
