Shay ran into my arms. I held her close and hugged her back. I hope she was ready to give this a chance cause I was.
The next day
Gabby's POV
In the afternoon
Since every Thursday after school the kids would go on a play date with Herman's kids I knew I was about to have to go pick them up but before I could leave Casey knocked on the door.
Casey and Gabby conversation
Casey- Hey how have you been?
Gabby- Well when your 7 weeks pregnant and still have two kids to take care of not the best.
Casey- My shift doesn't start for another hour so I can pick the kids up and drop them off.
Gabby- Today they have a play date at Hermans.
Casey- Then I'll drop them off at Hermans and I'll get Leslie to pick them up.
Gabby- Thanks.
