I was in my car driving home when I got a message from Shay.
Shay- Are we having movie night or are you bailing on me again.
I decided that since I was driving I would call Shay.
Shay- Hello.
Severide- Sorry but tonight I'm bailing again I promised my friend I would help her move in.
Shay- Always making up excuses. Well I'll talk to you later.
Gabby's Pov
My kids had just got home from school so I helped them with their homework then ordered pizza. I looked at my phone seeing s text from Shay.
Shay- Hey you mind if I stay in the guess room until I find my self an apartment.
Gabby- Wats up?
Shay- I'll tell you tonight when i get there.
Gabby- okay
Shay's POV
It was going on 8:10 so I decided to start packing some of my stuff before Severide got back. I had finished packing my last bag when I heard someone come in.
Severide- Leslie?
Severide- Leslie are you here?
Severide- Shay we need to talk?
Shay I walked out the room but some part of me had to know what he had to talk to me about.
Shay- Why are u not on your date?
Severide- I know you're mad and won't believe me but I didn't go.
Shay- Why?
Severide- Because I realized that in all my relationships something was missing.
Shay- What was missing?
Severide- Well I've always dated the wrong person. The person I need is.........
