Alex (girl)

I sat down in the studio waiting for Kamille. Nasan na ba yun? Why is she late?

"Hoy!" I heard Kamille calling me. "Hi" I smiled fundly at her.

"Yan na ba ang ngiti ng inlove?" she teased.

What do you mean inlove? Does she know about him?

"Oh don't give me that look bruha! I know what's happening between you and Caleb" Caleb?

My brow shoot up in shock. "Caleb? What about him?" I asked completely lost.

"Tumahimik ka nga. Echoserang palaka. Nanliligaw pala sayo yung tao di mo pa sinabi sa akin?" she said sitting down next to me.

"Ano?!" I exclaimed gaining everyone's attention to us. "Sorry" I apologized and everyone returned to there businesses.

"Come on Alex. Everyone is like talking about it" she said nonchalantly.

"Hindi naman siya nanliligaw sa akin ah. Oo nagtetext siya but that doesn't mean nanliligaw na siya" I defended myself.

I mean not that he's not good looking or something. He's just different. He doesn't have brown eyes or messy hair or squared jaw.......

Ugh! Stop it!

It's her brows' turn to furrow.

"What do you mean hindi siya nanliligaw? Eh san nanggagaling tong chismis?" she asked quizically.

"What do I know?" duh as if naman. "San ba talaga galing yan?" I asked her.

"Narinig ko lang sa STE" sagot niya. Sasagot na sana ako pero dumating yung prof namin.

"Ok angels, 2 weeks from now, NAMCYA is going to hold there annual choral competitions in Manila and we're participating. But few will be chosen" he said.

I heard this competition is prestig. Wow.

"I already chose those who will participate and will train for the next two weeks for the competition. They will represent not only our school but also Baguio. Please proceed to the conference hall as I call out your name" he continued.

Hindi ako makukuha dito sigurado ako. Baguhan palang ako dito eh. Pero sayang naman kung hindi.

He started calling names.

"Garen, Kevin"

I wasn't looking at those who gets out maybe because I was still anticipating my name. But I'm only 1% sure that I'm in the list.

"Amon, Alexis" what the.......

"Oh my god. You got in. Go girl" Kamille was grinning from ear to ear.

As I stood, our prof called me.

"You've been doing well as a begginer Ms. Amon. I'm looking forward for more" he said smiling

ALRIGHT!!

I was smiling when I entered the hall.

"Congrats" someone said. I turned and saw the same guy who gave me the piece a couple of weeks ago.

"Thanks" I curtly said. Nakalimutan ko nauna pala siya. I sat down next to him. As usual, the room is posh. Everything looks so proffessional.

"Kamusta pwetan mo?" he asked

Huh?

"I'm sorry. Don't get me wrong. Nung nahulog ka sa hagdan sa SM ok ka na ba?" he asked.

Ohhh so that's where I saw him. He was the one who helped me.
