Chapter 17

Alex (boy)

"You, what do you want?" her tone challenging.

"Nothing" I lied

"What do you want me to do?" her brows furrowed.

I want you to be mine

Hindi ako nagsasalita. I'm afraid I might spill everything I've been hiding. All I've been keeping.

What do I want? I want her. All of her. No one else made me want someone this strong.

"Hindi ka ba magsasalita?" she nearly whispered but I can still hear the challenge in her voice.

"Kayo na ba?" I mustered. Feeling afraid of her answer, I shut my eyes close.

"Bakit kung oo? Why does it matter to you?" she spoke, venom dripping from every word she said.

I still didn't answer.

Sila na.

She sighed and stood up.

"You should have waited" I whispered feeling my knees tremble.

May nagmamay-ari na sa kanya. She's not mine to keep anymore. She never was and never will.

"Why?" she faced me. "You keep shutting me out Lex. How am I suppose to deal with that?" I say still eyes closed.

"I'm afraid okay? There, you have it. Natatakot ako Alex. And.....

And if you said this to me earlier I would have ran but I don't want to, bot this time. Ayoko nang tumakas. Ngayon sinasabi mo sana naghintay ako?" her voice is shaking.

I can hear my pulse beating behind my ears.

She said she wouldn't run anymore.

"Bakit di ka magsalita Alex? Anong hihintayin ko ha? Hihintayin ko na maamin mo jan sa sarili mo na may nararamdaman ka rin sa akin?"

Rin?

"Hanggang kailan Alex? Hanggang kailan...........

..
......

."

I stood up and pulled her face towards me claiming her lips.

May feelings ka rin sa akin

That's all it took for me. All my control snapped.

She feels the same. She wants the same. She wants me too.

I savored the taste of her lips. The scent of her hair. The softness of her skin.

This feels so right. She resisted but then gave in. She wrapped her arm around my neck her hands reaching the nape of my neck.

Raking her hand through my hair.

That's it. She gently pulled, her body flushed in mine. My chest rising up and down.

I bring my hands down to her waist. My hand perfectly fit in her curves. My blood's singing.

We were breathless when we parted for air. I touched her forehead with mine, our nose touching.

"All I want is you Lex. I love you" I whispered. Bracing myself for her answer, I again closed my eyes.

"I love you" she breathed.

I embraced her, feeling every part of her body. Her scent, her touch. I'm reveling in the moment, in her body. Wanting more.

Alex (girl)

My lips were still swollen from his kiss.

Gaaaaad his lips were amazing. Coaxing, disarming. His tongue searching and warm.

I sigh as I lean against him now sitting on the bench. My back against his chest. His legs were on both sides of my body.

May naririnig na akong tilaok ng manok. But I don't really care.

"Pano si Caleb?" tanong niya.

Oh right. I told him na kami. Although I enjoyed that part when his face looked so defeated. I knew what he wanted.

He wanted me but I wanted to pull it out of his mouth.

"About that," I started. "Hindi kami" sinabi ko sa kanya.

He poked my side and chuckled. "You liar" he accused.

We both laughed and talked, bantered, tickled each other.

Just as I was going to poke him with my hand, he catched it and kissed my index finger causing my insides to turn.

"You're mine to keep. Am I your's to keep to?" he probed looking straight into my eyes. Unnerving me, stripping all my doubts and worries leaving me naked.

Naked in front of him.

Hinihintay niya akong sumagot. He closed his eyes and held his breath like his life depended on my answer.

I realized he was doing that- closing his eyes, to lessen the nervousness he feels. I find it interesting.

"Yes" I whispered and he pulled me in for a kiss, not possessing this time. Its all love, all passionate. He's spilling all his emotions into the kiss yet his lips were gentle.

His tongue coaxing my lips to part. I gave him access and as I feel his tongue roam my mouth, I knew I needed him. I needed more of him.

We parted and smiled at each other like lunatics.

"So, hindi pa ba tayo uuwi?" he reminded me. Oh, right.

"I think we should probably go now. It's getting late"

"Early" he corrected as he boosted us both up giving my hand a quick squeez.

"Hindi ako makapaniwala" he suddenly say. "Na ano?" I respond.

"Na tayo na" he quickly implied stealing a glance from me.

"Me too" I say agreeing with him.

We walked home, our hands linked. His thumb absently drawing circles on my hand.

Soothing actually but it's sending goosebumps on the nape of my neck.

He's affecting me so much. And I like it.

Nang makarating na kami sa tapat ng bahay namin, he reached for my other hand.

"Why is your hand always cold?" he ask of all questions.

I smiled "I'm a vampire" I teased and he jerked me towards him resting his head on the curve of my neck.

Then he whispered, "Then I willingly surrender my body as a sacrifice for your thurst" he took a deep inhale. "You smell so nice" he continued sending shivers down my spine.

Gaaad, this man.

He stood straight and smirked. "Good night Lex" he kissed my right cheek. "Sweet dreams" he kissed my left cheek. "I'll come in your dreams, stalking" he kissed the tip of my nose. I smiled at his retort. "I love you" he then kissed my lips.

"I love you" I whispered while the pad of his thumb swipes my lower lip.

"I know" he breathed.
