"Really? Oh my god you are so mean!" I was laughing my heart out when Alex told me a story of his childhood.
"Ano? Totoo naman ah, hindi konaman kasalanan na madapa si Shara sa putikan noon!" He was defending himself now.
"Tumahimik ka nga! Pati naman ikaw nadapa ka din!" I pushed. He's so adorable when he's trying to defend himself.
"Oh hell no! You won't be laughing at me just because of that!" He now started tickling me.
"Cut it out! I mean it!" I was now yelling.
"Sshh! Andito tayo sa student's center. Nakakahiya!" He playfully wriggled his brows.
Sasagot na sana ako nang biglang nagring yung phone ko.
Tita
"Hello po?" I answered.
"Lex, uwi ka ng maaga ha? May pupuntahan tayo," she said.
"Sige po," I agreed.
"Sino yun?" Alex asked.
"Si tita, gusto niya akong umuwi ng maaga, may pupuntahan daw kami," sagot ko naman.
"Ahh, ganun ba? Ano oras next class mo? Alas dos na oh," he told me looking at his wrist watch.
"Oh no, I'm late," I said shoving all my thigs in my bag while saying my good bye to Alex.
He stood up, kissed my forehead and is now running for my specialization.
Ugh! Ayaw na ayaw pa naman ni sir ng nalelate.
As I reached our door I spotted Kevin standing in the doorway.
"Why are you still here? Nagsimula na sila oh,'' I said panting.
"I-I was waiting for you," he said nervously.
"What for?" I asked now breathing steadily.
"May activity kasi tayo ngayon and by partner kasi. Duet daw, any song from Phantom of the Opera, I was thinking if you'd like to......" he trailed off.
"Sure," sagot ko agad. "But right now, kailangan nating pumasok para di tayo maabsent," I quickly added.
Ngumiti naman siya at pumasok kasunod ko. This guy is so wierd. One time he was laughing with me, the other day he was avoiding me and now he wants me to be his partner? Ewan ko din dito.
Pagpasok palang namin ang ingay na nila sa loob. Halatang busy sa practice, everyone was in their own practicing booths pero may iilan parin na piniling magpractice dito sa loob.
As I settle myself on one of the stools inside our booth, Kevin started speaking.
"So, uhm, phantom of the opera, I uh... uhm.." he's choking his life out.
"Relax, it's just me kuya," I smiled. "You choose a song, any song is fine with me," I continued.
He smiled back and nodded. What's eating him so lately? Hindi naman niya ako pinapansin sa klase namin. why would he talk to me?
"Ito nalang," bigla niyang sinabi at iniabot yung piyesa sa akin.

"Cool," I answered nonchalantly pero sa loob loob ko sobrang naeexcite ako. This will be my first time to do a duet sa genre na to. I wonder what would it be like?
We started practicing, we sang our lines effectively and end up doing a round up twice and we're done.

I also started singing my part. Siguro gusto lang ulit niya ifinalize.
"I love this song," I say.
"Me too," he answered agreeing with me.
"Can I ask something?" He asked.
"Sure, anything," I beamed.
"How did you knew Alex?" He queried.
"He's a causin of my causin on her father side, everything's kinda complicated kaya ang hirap iexplain," sagot ko. "Kayo? Close kayo?" I asked.
"Yup, actually one of my closest. Until now, hindi parin siya nagbabago and I can tell na magiging mabait siya na boyfriend sayo," he stated.
Kevin
I know Alex will be a good boyfriend to her. I know because I was about to witness it but then I ruined everything for him.
"Kuya Kev, magpaparaya ako but treat her right. Please don't hurt her," Alex pleaded. "I will let this fall but please, just don't......" he trailed off shuting his eyes closed.
What have I done to deserve this kind of friend?
"Hindi ko siya aagawin sayo, hindi ko siya sisiraan sayo. I owe you a lot so I'm intrusting her to you," he said full of hope.
Alam ko kung anong ginawa ko. Nagkagusto ako sa isang babae na gusto din niya.
I know nasasaktan ko si Alex ngayon but I just can't make myself to just let go. I'm being selfish I knowbut why can't I let her go?
I didn't talk, I just nodded and Alex left.
It was morbid for me to remember that but it just came into my head.
"Kuya," she poked me in the cheek.
"I said don't call me kuya," I teased. "Sorry for spacing out, I just remembered something," I offered and she nodded.
Ano kayang masasabi ni Alex pag sinabi ko sakanya na nagkakagusto na din ako kay Amon na to? I know he'll be furious, hell he would even kill me. What am I going to do?
"Can you please tell me more about Alex?" She asked.
"I would love to," I made myself comfortable amd started telling her more about Pascual.
