"So the only way to kill Oryx, is a piece of paper... I'm pretty sure if that were the case we won't even need to look at this." Blizzard said sarcastically.
"No idiot, that 'piece of paper' just says how to kill him. Which is his own sword, nothing else can, any large blows will cripple him however." Current said with a hint of anger in his voice. "Well at least we know that we can kill him with his own key." Terra said.
"No, Terra it's not a key, it's a sword. What lock would allow a key that big to unlock?"
"Maybe when you stick it inside someone, it unlocks their death."
Current sighed "Terra, I wish I can just live in your world for like... Five minutes."
As soon as he said that, there was a large boom overhead. Along with other dragonets screaming in terror.
Current ran outside of the library with the scroll clutched in his talons. He found his knapsack and put the scroll inside of it and slid it so it would be under his wing. He caught a dragonet fleeing. "Hey what's going on?!"
"The Dreadnaught is here!" And then the dragonet took off again in peril.
The Dreadnaught? Where have I heard that name before? He asked himself. He looked out a window to see something hovering over the orphanage. And he saw the symbol again. Glowing a fiery red instead of a lime green he usually sees.
Oh it's Oryx's vessel ya dolt! I feel as thick as Terra. Current said to himself.
He ran back to his friends with the knapsack slung over his shoulder. "We have to go!"
"Gee ya think?!" Blizzard yelled in response. The ceiling began crumbling overhead. Current caught a glimpse of Shade. The NightWing was trying to get as many dragonets out as fast as possible. She looks kind of nice with that determined look on her face Current thought. But he remembered he had to get out too.
A couple minutes later the last of the dragonets were out. "Okay you ready to go outside for the first time?" Shade asked him. "Of course I'm ready!" As the two of them beelined for the exit, debris fell in front of it. They tried the other one, but no luck. "Oh moons... What are we going to do?!" Shade asked with a stab of fear in her voice. Current looked over at the window. "The window! Run for it!" The two of them ran for it, before they made it to the window, Current wrapped his wings around Shade's body completely, and he leaped out of the window, feeling the stabbing pain of the glass. A few seconds after that, there was an explosion.
Current was looking at the destroyed figure of his home from the outside.
He rolled onto his back and let out a painful groan. Letting Shade go. But by rolling on his back, the glass shards dug into his scales more, staining the sand outside with his blood.
Current was trying to fight the loss of consciousness. But he knew that if he stood awake, that would mean more pain to deal with as the healers attempt to pull the glass out of his back. So he let himself fall into darkness. As black as Shade's NightWing scales.

FanfictionIf you think of Oryx as a complete ripoff of the Destiny Oryx, a friend of mine used him, I thought it would be a great idea for the character to be in a fanfiction. And if it moves too fast paced, it's my first fanfiction, DON'T JUDGE ME!!! I'll wo...
