All was fine and well until that dream.

Current was used to nightmares, he had them all the time. But this one was different from others, it usually involved something that he wasn't comfortable with, like spiders or dragonbite vipers.

He awoke in dream sleep, to see a very big NightWing staring him right in the face.

Is that Morrowseer? He thought.

"No I'm not Morrowseer if that's what your wondering. I don't even think he has a dreamvisitor." The NightWing said.

Current inspected under his wing. A familiar symbol glowed there, one he's seen time and time again.

"Oryx." Current said softly.

"That's right SeaWing."

All of a sudden everything turned black to see his friends sleeping.

Is this still a dream?

Dream Blizzard and dream Shade looked at Current but instead of Shade's sky blue eyes and Blizzard's green eyes. They were completely black, with blood dripping from the bottom.

"Nowhere to go." Blizzard said with a voice that sounded more metallic than his normal tenor

Nightmare Shade was right next to him, it was terrifying to see through her eyes too her skull.

"Nowhere to run."

The two of them started chanting the two sentences. Over and over again, the madness in Current set in and he began to run, without knowing where to go in the dreamscape. Until he saw Oryx holding his sword as if he were about to perform an execution. He saw regular Shade on the ground waiting for Oryx to kill her. He slashed with his sword, cutting her head clean off. The head rolled toward Current. He watched in terror as the head stopped and stared him in the eyes. Oryx looked back at Current.

"You've failed your friends. Now it's time to give up the ghost. Quite literally in fact." He slashed at Current, ending the nightmare as quick as the blade came.

He shot up only to bonk his head.

"Ow!" Said a familiar voice.

Shade was on top of Current with her wings around him.

They both rubbed their heads. "I never thought I could see a dragon shiver so much in their sleep."

Current looked at her and let out a cry of joy, then wrapped his wings around her tightly.

She laughed a little, "what's this about?"

Current was in tears, he never really cried until now. "I had a horrible nightmare, you died in it, it was absolutely terrible to watch you die," he said choking with his words.

"Okay sweetheart, you can let go now." Current blushed when she called him sweetheart, "I didn't really think you cared about me that much, you don't really like anyone." She said to him. "Anyone but you Shade," he said in a voice he very rarely uses, which sounds loving.

"We'll see if that's true." She said with amusement.

They both sighed happily, "hey Current? Where do you think we should go next?"

The words 'nowhere to go' echoed in his mind, but he tuned it out. "I was thinking Scorpion Den, we could try to get help, even though I don't want to drag anyone into this."

"If we can get in, of course."

"We'll see."

A couple hours later, at dawn, Current woke the others up.

"Alright guys, Shade and I know where to go next."

"Where to now?"

"We're going to see our type of people, we're going to Scorpion Den."

Blizzard shot Current a smug grin "oh so our type of people are criminals and mob bosses? I'm sure that fits you and Shade's description, you two can go on a killing spree! Do some real bonding."

Current growled, "no man-child, different dragons, like your cyan scales, and my odd glow in my right talon that seems to be advancing up to my shoulders."

"And your stinky breath." Terra said, "you know I wasn't going to say anything earlier, but... Since we're all telling the truth about each other..."

"Terra you're an idiot."

"Well I didn't know how much words hurt until it was my turn... I don't think I want to play this honesty game anymore."

Current chuckled "let's go everyone!"

Terra let out a cry of happiness. "Yes! This is going to be the greatest trip ev-"

Current shot Terra a glare, "if you say anything positive, I swear I will kill everyone right here right now."

"Okay, I will be very depressed about how awesome this will be!"
