"Who are these?"

Current was staring the leader of the Outclaws straight in the eyes, she seemed to radiate power in her scales like Burn did, she was a little smaller than expected, but still a little larger than Current. 

"I'm Shade, that cobalt SeaWing is Current, my boyfriend."

"I'm your boyfriend? I mean I am."

"Come on, admit it. You're in love with me."

"Yeah little bit."

Thorn looked at them both "okay? Uh, why are you here?"

"Oh we're looking for men."

Thorn laughed a little "look the sun is really hot, I'd unders-"

"No not like that. I mean soldiers."

"OH! Okay my mistake, I'll ask if there's anyone we could spar- wait, what's this about?" Thorn asked with a little worry in her voice.

"Trying to kill Oryx."

Thorn's expression changed, "Oryx? Oh yeah, I can see if there's anyone who'd be willing to help, I'll ask, Jo-en-es? Jo-en-es! Jo-en-es where the hell are ya?!"

A SandWing came walking in with a little bit of an angered expression on his face, "ma'am for the millionth time, it's pronounced Jones, Jones!"

Another SandWing, "Shut up Jo-en-es!"

"Seriously, it's a very common scavenger name, why can't a dragon have that name?"

"Jo-en-es I need you to see if there are any dragons we can spare to help fight Oryx."

"Let's see, none." 

Thorn's face looked dead serious, "then I need you to go down to the basement and get Heatwave."

Jones' face turned into a terrified expression, "Me... Alone?" He said choking.

Thorn nodded toward the basement, "double time Jo-en-es." 

"It's pronounced Jo- never mind, moons."

Shade looked at Thorn, "you keep Heatwave in the basement?"

"We keep him tied up in the basement."

He heard the hissing of fire, then a blast, "AHHHH! WHY?!"Jones yelled.

Another SandWing walked out, he must have been Heatwave, "be careful!"

"So what's up? You wanted to see me?"

"These two dragons wanted to see if you can help fight Oryx, and where's the guy I sent to go get you?"

"Somehow he stabbed himself in the back with his own tail somehow, but I don't think it was anyone's fault."

"Three moons, would someone please go check on him?" 

Thorn looked back at Heatwave, "this is Current and Shade, they need some help fighting Oryx."

"Oryx? Oh no, did he kill someone? Did he kill my brother?"

"Uh, Thorn? What is this?" Current asked.

"Did my father die again? That's it isn't it my father is dead!"

"No one died!"

The guard that went down to see if Jones was alive came back, "Jo-en-es is dead ma'am."

"Okay, no one besides him."

"Come on, we need your help heatwave." Shade said.
