I felt like this chapter was boring. Eh, idc.

"Mill, you okay?" Ty asked me.

My focus went back on our group of friends.

"Hmm?" I asked.

"You zoned out for a bit," Donovan said.

"Oh, sorry."

"We were talking about who is the better musician out of you and me. It's obviously me, but Ty says otherwise."

"Sorry, bro, but Mill is the best musician out of the group."

"True," I agreed. "I play multiple instruments expertly."

"Mm, fair point, but I play one of those multiple instruments better than you and I sing, so I think I win."

"I agree," Ash added.

"That hurts," I said, smiling. "Emily it's up to you."

"Hm... I believe that the both of you are equally amazing musicians. I cannot choose."

Donovan scoffed. "We need a tie-breaker."

"Emily was our tie-breaker, but she's too good of a friend. We need someone that has no choice but to be honest."

"But who?" he asked me.

"Maegan!"

The little girl that was probably drawing on some furniture came skipping over to us.

"Yes?" she asked innocently.

"First, what did you do?"

"Nothing yet," she smirked.

I smiled at her, not caring that she definitely did something. "Second, come here."

I picked her up and sat her on my lap.

"Maegan, we have a very important question to ask you," Donovan said.

"I'm listening," she replied in a grownup voice. She loved feeling like a grownup and sitting with the 'adults'.

"Mae, out of me and Donny, who is the best at music?" I asked.

"Hmm..."

"Don't forget that I sang you your favorite song at least 4 zillion times today," Donovan said.

"That's cheating!" I giggled.

"Shh! I need complete quiet, Auntie Milly."

The whole group smiled at her and kept quiet for a good five minutes.

"I pick... Milly," she smiled.

"YES!"

I kissed her on the cheek and did a happy dance.

"That's not fair! She's related to you!" Donovan protested.

"One, it is fair. Two, nobody likes a kiss-up," I stated.
