"You're a cute drunk," I giggled.

My boyfriend was sat on the floor, his cheeks a gentle rose color, looking through my closet.

"What the hell is this?" he slurred, holding up my 'I conquered the Ka!' shirt.

"My shirt from Six Flags."

"What in the Sam Hill is the 'Ka'?"

"Dude! Kingda Ka!"

"What?"

"Bro! How long have you lived here?"

"6 years, I think. Give or take."

"And you don't know what Kingda Ka is!?"

"Not a fucking clue."

"The tallest roller coaster in the world! 456 feet! Oh my god, you noob!"

"You rode that thing!?"

"Hell yeah! I rode it like a champ."

"I can think of anoth-"

"Don't you dare. I rode the tallest roller coaster in the world. Let's leave it at that."

He got up, leaving my shirt on the floor, and hopped on the bed. He pulled my closer to him, and lifted my shirt, peppering kisses on my bump.

"Well, there's no way that my son is getting on that."

"The height limit is 4'7", and since you're his father, he'll most likely be tall as hell."

"Nope. Love him too much to kill him."

"Just because you're a puss doesn't mean he will be."

"All O'Keefes have weak stomachs!"

"Since I'll probably be an O'Keefe, not all will-"

The alarm went off, startling us. We heard Lacey bark and the numbers on the alarm keypad beep. The ringing stopped and Lacey continued barking.

Donovan did a spy-like roll off the bed, because he's a cute drunk, and got a bat from under it.

I slowly followed him out the door to the dark kitchen. We quickly switched on the light to find Tyler sitting at the table eating our last tub of ice cream.

"What the hell, man!?" he shouted.

"You're in our place!" I shouted back. "What are you doing here anyways?"

"Had a fight with Ash," he mumbled. "Es kam zu ernst."

"What do you mean it got too serious?" Donovan asked, the slur in his speech almost gone.

"When did you take up Germ- Never mind. A lot of wedding pressure is on us right now and things took a turn and she said stuff and then I did and then she said something terrible. Something that can't just be fixed by an 'I'm so sorry, babe'. So I left."
