This is just a warning, so you don't think that I did this on purpose. I was supposed to go to a fair with a friend I haven't seen in months, but I couldn't because my productive sister was busy, so if this chapter is crappy, It's because I'm pissed and sad af. AND half of my chapter deleted too, so I'm even more pissed. Ugh, and on top of that, I had to practice for a band competition, so I was very busy, sad, and stressed out. Enjoy 😊

1 week later
About 7 weeks!

"Are you sure?" he asked. I could tell he was excited. He's not good at hiding things from me.

"Yes, D. I'm sure," I replied. "I want to tell people now. I'm ready want to do this."

"Are you just doing this for me? Because you don't-"

"Donovan."

"Yes?"

"I'm doing this for the both of us, love. I'm really and truly ready to tell everyone."

An adorable smile formed on his face. I wonder if our baby will have his sweet dimples.

"But I have to tell two people first," I informed him.

"Who?"

"My parents. I know it might seem weird, but I kind of want you there."

"It's fine."

"Really? I don't want to make you do something that you don't want to do. You don't even have to go with me. I could go by myself if-"

"Milly, two things. One, I want to do this with you. Two, even if I didn't want to go, which I do, I would never let you do that alone. Especially if you want me there."

I smiled and fluffed his hair. "You're a saint."

~Donovan~

"You ready?" I asked her.

She turned to me and smiled. "You didn't have to dress up."

I looked down at my attire. A tie, white dress shirt, dark jeans. "Oops?"

"You look very dapper," she smiled, buttoning the top button of her lavender shirt. "And yes, I am ready."

During the drive, I couldn't help but to think about whether or not they'd like me. It seems unreasonable, but meeting the parents is always terrifying.

When we got there, Milly waved to the security guard and led the way to her parents. As she led the way, her black mullet skirt flower behind her.

When we got there, she replaced the wilting flowers with fresh ones that we bought earlier and knelt down next to them. I did the same.

"Okay, so you guys know that I've been very bad at speaking to you since... So, um, this is going to be awkward. Especially now because of the thing I have to tell you." She took a deep breath. "This is Donovan, the guy I told you about. That same day, I realized that I was just being a dumb ass and I fixed the mess I made. Anyways, we're doing great. Even greater since we found out that I'm..."

She was silent for a few seconds, probably thinking about what she was going to say.

"Do you want me to say something?" I asked, secretly hoping she'd say no. I love her and I'll do anything for her, but I'm really shitty in situations like this.

"You don't have to. I was just thinking," she said, her voice barely a whisper.

"About what?"

"The future and stuff like that."
