Part 37

Winter was approaching as snow made it’s way down to the ground. I stared out from the window and watched the white snow falling from the skies. I saw the ground being covered by the white ice. I looked at Ana as she sat down drinking coffee and watching television. Olie was out shoving snow from the driveway. I watched her paved a road for the driveway as she cleaned the snow off her car as well. I looked at Ana as she placed at her coffee down to look through the window.

“Poor Olivia. She has to go to work with all this snow. That is what you get when you work at a hospital.” Ana said as she tapped my head.

I looked up at her and nodded. In a way I was glad Olie was going to be away. Every time she was here, she would pay attention to Ana and her belly. When Ana took a nap or a shower, Olie would then grab me and then continue her play with me inside the room. I hated just being an inch away from her. I watched her struggled to shovel the snow away from the car. She started her car up and then stormed back inside the house.

“Damn it’s fucking cold outside!” Olie snapped as she shook the snow off her boots.

“Oh dear! And you still have to go to work?” Ana asked.

“Obviously. I am part of the government workers. You guys should keep inside where it is much warmer. You have plenty of food here. So stay here okay?”

Ana nodded as she picked me up and kissed me head. We watched Olie walked into the kitchen and grabbed her hot coffee mug and her lunch container.

She walked back to us and hugged Ana. She then grabbed me from Ana’s arm as Ana went back to the television room. She picked me up and kissed my head. “You dear, you better be good or else.” She said as she pinched my buttocks,

I gasped as she placed me back down and shoved me with her foot. I crawled as fast as I can to the living room as Olie shouted bye one last time. She opened the door and slammed the door shut.

I peek out from the window and saw Olie’s car driving off to the main road. I saw the snowplow truck driving the opposite road as Olie’s car disappeared from sight.

I crawled back from the window sill and went back to Ana and Spencer. I pulled Spencer from the toy chest and hugged him. I dragged him to Ana’s room and played with him. I kissed him and hugged him. I felt him asking me million of questions as I held him tightly. Some of the questions didn’t make sense but I figured I should answer them anyways.

“Yes Spence. Olie still touches me at night. I kinda miss having you next to me by my bedside. Ana is having a baby soon too. I think Olie can’t wait for the baby. I think she wants to do the dirty stuff with him or her too.” I whispered as I hugged him tightly.

Spencer snuggled closer to me as his hand touched my cheek.  I cried in his cotton hands as I looked away. I knew Spencer was asking what was wrong.

“Nothing, Spence. I am just feeling down. I wish I was in another family. No child deserves this. How lucky for Linlee to be able to get out of Olie’s clutches when she loved every bit of it? And I get stuck? It isn’t fair!” I sobbed violently in Spencer’s arms as he hugged me tightly back.

Spencer held me under his arms as I felt his anger and confusion as he planted kisses on my temples. He was telling me everything was going to be okay and I prayed everything will be okay.

We were hosting another tea party when I felt something weird. I needed to go to the bathroom but then I remembered Olie kicked my bathroom out of the house and into the backyard. I crawled to Ana as she sat on the couch reaching a book. I tugged on the ends of her pants. I looked up at her and smiled.
