Chapter 10

Alexis's Pov.

"You killed him! You killed them! You killed my entire family in less than a day!" the girl screamed as she pushed me down to the ground. She pulled her right arm back ready to fling it forward into my face but before she could her arm was grabbed and she was lurched up and off me.

"Alexis are you alright?" Carol asked me as she helped me to stand up. I nodded and looked over at the three others. The girl that had jumped me had her arm in a death grip by the man.

"Scarlet!" he hissed, "We're not at home. This isn't our Comet," he stated.

I knitted my eyebrows in confusion.

Meanwhile, Carol looked over at the three, "You three have to come with me back to the tower," she dictated.

The man and woman nodded and I could feel Scarlet glaring at me in anger and hate as she let out a frustrated huff, "Fine," she muttered.

I looked over to Carol, "How are we going to get to the tower?" I questioned.

"Subway of course," she chuckled, "Cause unless you can levitate them all or they can fly then we're stuck walking or taking the subway."

"I vote subway," the woman stated, "I haven't ridden the subway in years."

"Far enough," Carol responded as we walked over to the nearest subway entrance. 20 minutes later we were walking into the monitor room of Avenger's Tower. The back of a black swivel chair was faced towards us and over the top of it I could see the top of a head with black hair.

I noticed the man and woman paused for a second before continuing.

"Taylor, did you call the originals together like I asked?" Carol questioned.

The swivel chair turned to show the face of the person, a woman with black hair and an enlarged stomach which I could only assume was Taylor Stark.

"Yep. They're all gathered in the living room, even managed to convince James and the others to come along with their trainees," Taylor smirked struggling as she stood up.

"Good," Carol stated as we walked into the living room which was filled with Avengers. All heads turned to look at us, the first to speak was the soon to retire Black Widow, her eyes were narrowed in on the man and woman.

"Toni? Andrew?" she questioned, her chin lifted a little in speculation.

"Hey Gram. Nice to see ya again," the woman who I believe was Toni stated with a smirk, "Where's Gramps?"

I noticed Steven Rogers roll his eyes and walk over to Toni and Andrew, "You do realize I'm not THAT old...." he stated.

"Gramps.... you're old, ice or no ice included," Andrew smiled.

" Cap, Widow, you know these two?" Carol asked the two original avengers.

"We sure do. They saved our butts from Loki years ago, they're time traveling twins," Widow grinned.

"And this time, we brought a 3rd person with us!" Toni grinned and looked at the girl who had attacked me earlier, "Guys this is Scarlet." Scarlet gave a small grin and waved.

"Wait. Scarlet, as in the one who you had a bet with?" James asked looking between the two twins.

"You have to be more specific. I've won a lot of bets with them," Scarlet smirked.

"Gram also forgot to mention one other thing...." Andrew stated. 

"Which is? Taylor asked in curiosity. 

"We're your kids. Well, Toni and I are," Andrew answered. 

"WHAT!?!?!" 

"Wait. So you're my children..." Taylor started, "Who I'm pregnant with right now?" 

"Well yes and no," Toni stated, "We're from an alternate timeline in which Loki, Magneto, Dr. Doom, and Red Skull took over the word after you got captured, Mom. So while we are your children from the future, we're also from an alternate universe," Toni explained. 

"Don't think about it too hard or you'll get a headache," Andrew recommended. 

"Wait. Why are you here? Isn't everything alright in your world?" Steve asked his two grandkids. 

"Everything's not alright," Scarlet spat in disgust. She looked over at me angerly, "This is all her fault!" she snapped pointing a point at me. 

"What? How is Alexis to blame?" Carol asked trying to defend me. 

"Of course, you'd protect her," Scarlet muttered before bursting, "She's why we're here! She destroyed the tower, she killed the avengers, she even killed off her own mother! And then she teleported us to this world" 

"What are you talking about?" Hummingbird asked. 

"She's a Hydra agent! She's Hydra's weapon!"
