Alexis's POV.

My eyes widened at Scarlet's words and my heart started to race. I wasn't Hydra, I couldn't be. I hated them and everything they represented!

I saw Taylor look over at me in shock and clutch her stomach protectively. I saw James Rogers activate his shield ready to protect his wife. I saw Hummingbird narrow her eyes at me. And finally, I looked over at my mentor.

Carol's eyes held fear, and maybe sorrow or pity... I couldn't really tell. Her mouth was agape and she stood frozen.

I wasn't Hydra, she must had known that. I wouldn't betray her, or Simone, Chey, Sam, and Liz. They were my friends.

I looked over at Simone. She'd been feeling more feminine today so her hair appeared to be longer. I read her in a second. I nodded lightly so that only she could catch it. I may have been welcomed by the Avengers for a short time but I still had to remember my motto. RFS.

In less than a second, I blasted an energy beam at the glass window and had flown through it, shooting away from the tower as fast as possible. I few away from Avenger's Tower, away from Midtown, over Brooklyn and out past Long Island. I kept flying till I reached a town in Massachusets called Nauset.

I landed close by the lighthouse and looked around. It was beautiful, like a scene out of a movie.

I walked down towards the beach, kicking off my shoes when I reached the shore. The beach was pretty empty, due to it being early October. I stepped in the water, not minding that the tips of my jeans were getting wet.

It really didn't matter to me anymore. I sighed heavily and collapsed down into the sand, sitting an inch away from the lapping waves.

I needed to plan what to do next. I couldn't go back to my warehouse. They knew where I lived now, plus, if I went even within 20 miles of the city a hero would probably find me. I couldn't travel by plane. The Avengers probably had TSA alerts along with around the world video face recognition programming.  Greyhound buses and trains would be how they'd expect me to travel. So I couldn't take those. That only left me travel by car or using my powers.

I didn't have money for a car, and I couldn't hotwire one. I'd have to fly if I wanted to go anywhere. The question now was where to go.

Utah maybe... No superheroes there. North Dakota was even better... even fewer people. Maybe Canada, the Avengers didn't have jurisdiction there I don't think.

I looked out at the water, it seemed to never end. But I knew it did, that on the other side of the ocean there was Europe, with its own problems and heroes.

I was so focused on my thoughts I almost didn't hear the sound of footsteps behind me. Then I did. I jumped up in shock and ready to fight. I had expected Carol, maybe even Simone to follow me but when I saw who it was my eyes widened in shock and fear.

"You've been slipping out of my grasp for far too long girl," he sneered.

"Fisk," I hissed back raising my fists in defense, "What are you doing all the way out here? Disappointed in your goons?"

"They're not as..." he paused to think of a proper word to describe his goons, "competent as other henchmen I do admit but they have their successes. They did manage to find you fairly easily after you ran from the Avengers."

"I didn't run from the Avengers!" I snapped in anger even though I knew I was lying. Fisk probably did too.

"No... I guess you did fly out there. Now why is that?" he smirked, "They find out your secret. How you're to blame for your parent's deaths."

"I did nothing, I played no part in their murder. They were taken from me by Hydra. By people like you," I sneered back at the large man. I needed to get out of here. I couldn't hold myself in a fight against Wilson Fisk.

"Ah. Yes, Hydra. They're looking for you. Though I'm sure you already knew that child. They're offering quiet the amount of money for a child like yourself. I could use a little more money. Now if you fight back this is going to be much harder than is should," Fisk stated.

"I'm not going anywhere with you monster," I hissed at him.

"Oh well..." he grinned like it wasn't that big of a disappointment to him. Then it clicked in my head. He was distracting me. Before I could do anything I was grabbed from behind and a cloth was put over my mouth and nose.

I screamed at this and struggled as by eyelids grew heavy and I started to drift off and lose focus. Soon enough I couldn't and I had to give into sleep....

Third Person POV.

Carol watched as her daughter flew off and away from the tower. Anger filled her and she turned to Scarlet.

"Why did you do that to her?" Carol snapped, "She's running away from Hydra, she's not Hydra!"

"Carol," Taylor stated, "How could you know that? We have no background info on her to even know the truth. We don't even know her real birth parents."

"Yes we do," Carol hissed before rocketing through the hole her daughter had made minutes before. She flew after her daughter and finally landed in Nauset.

Then she saw what was happening on the beach. She witnessed her daughter get knocked out and anger boiled through her. That was her daughter. And NO one hurt her daughter.
