Third Person's pov.

Getting the ability to fly had been the best thing that had ever happened to her.... well at least it use to be. She thought nothing could beat flying, the wind in her hair, the freedom she felt, the crisp air.

Then her daughter came along.

When she had first found out she was pregnant she was already 5 months into the pregnancy. Her period had always been irregular so when it hadn't come for the 5th time that was when she started to worry.

She automatically stole one of Jess's pregnancy test's that she had left over from her one night stand days and took it.

When the stick showed the positive sign she was shocked. She couldn't be a mother or raise a kid, but for once she ignored the knot in her stomach and told her boyfriend.

Marv'vel was so happy he literally flew to the moon and back. Then he got diagnosed with cancer that was already stage 4. He was given 3 months to live.

She was wrecked. No. They were wrecked. In Marv'vel's dying months she pleaded with him to let her give the kid up for adoption. She knew she couldn't be a single mother with what happened in her life. She couldn't be an avenger and a mother. Sure Jessica and Luke were able to do it... but they had each other, she would have no one.

Marv'vel finally agreed with her before he died. She would give the kid away, and she did.

After that she tried to forget she had a kid, she tried to get back to life, trying to pretend that every time she saved the world she wasn't just saving the millions of people in the world but also her daughter where ever she was.

She expected her daughter be to adopted, to be taken in by a nice family, but later on when she heard what actually happened she would never be able to forgive herself.

She had never thought she'd see her daughter again. She had hoped that she would never see her daughter again in hopes of her safely.

So when she saw her daughter walk in through the doors of the Avenger's facility she automatically recognized her. The night black hair that signified she had the power cosmic and the piercing blue eyes.

Her daughter was here... in the avenger's facility. She never wanted her daughter to grow up in the superhero world, she never wanted her to make contact with it even. But it looked like she had failed to complete that goal.

She was suddenly broken out of her train of thought when her name was called.

"Captain!" it called for her.

She looked to see that it was in fact Coulson who had called her name. She locked eyes with her daughter for only a second before looking at Coulson.

"What is it Coulson?" she spat.

"Well...." the director started, "This is your trainee Alexis Columbo."

She tried her best not to flinch at the mention of her daughter's last name. Or her first name. She had chosen the name Alexis... cause well... she was allowed to chose one part of her daughters name and she choice Alexis for some reason... Maybe because Marv'vel had always liked that name. Alexis Grace Marv'vel was suppose to be her name.

She couldn't reveal her secret, she was going to have to raise her daughter... no train her daughter to use Marv'vel's powers, without telling her that she was her mother. Great. She was Captain Marvel, an Avengers, a Guardian of the Galaxy, a hero, a mother. No she wasn't mother, she gave up that part of herself a long time ago. She had betrayed her daughter... and now it was coming to bite her in the butt.

------------------MEANWHILE IN PORTLAND, OREGON!-------------------

Danielle Phillip Nathan-Coulson hated school. Well not entirely. She just hated the idea of being stuck inside a building for 8-9 hours a day... with crappy teachers and tons of drama. Then again... her entire high school knowledge had come from the tv and other books she had read.

You see Danielle had been homeschool all of her 15 years of life. She never had the desire to go to High School and her mother never thought it was safe for her to go. Her mother had always told her that there were bad things in the world. All she had to do was avoid them as best as possible.

She had always know her mother was hiding something from her. She just didn't know who or what.

So when the doorbell rang one day Danielle Phillip Nathan thought nothing of it. It could have been a UPS guy. Or the weekly groceries. Her mother never liked her to go out of the house. But when she heard yelling from the door she quickly ran over to door to see what was going on.

Her mother was yelling her head off at an African American man with an eyepatch. Weird.

"You already took her father from me! I'm not going to let you take her too!" her mother shrieked at the name with the eyepatch.

"Ms. Nathan... I realize that you blame us for Phil's death but your daughter has powers, and we believe that SHIELD is the best place for her to learn how to control them," The man replied keeping a straight face the entire time.

"No! I'm not letting you take her! You never told me how Phil died! How can I expect to be able to trust you to protect my daughter when you couldn't protect your best eye and agent!" Ms. Nathan hissed back.

"I'm sorry Ms. Nathan but Danielle has to come with us. Or Hydra will come after her," the man stated.

Ms. Nathan's eyes widened at the mention of Hydra.

And the was the beginning of Danielle's crazy journey.

Happy Saturday!!! I hope y'all enjoyed the Chapter! And yes!!! Phil Coulson has a daughter!!!! Ha ha ha! Or should I say Ho Ho Ho!
