A isn't for Avenging

Chapter 8

Third Person Pov. Another Time Period

"I've got eyes on the weapon," Scarlet spoke into her comm. 

"Alright. Be careful from here on out Mambo. Captain M is behind you, the twins and Mage are on ground support," the voice replied into her ear. 

"Got it Uncle Sol," she stated as she floated above the scene below her. A hydra camp stood below her as a truck pulled up into the camp. The Avengers knew that it held a weapon they just didn't know what.

She was in her water vapor form as she watched the goons below her open the door of the truck to reveal a large metal box. It stood about 7 feet tall and was 3 feet wide on each side. The box was shaking as it something powerful was being held in the box. 

"The box is a power restricting box, and from what I can tell it's not doing a very good job. It this secret weapon of Hydra's is this powerful then the box is restricting more then half it's full potential," Captain stated into her ear.

"Got it Cap," Scarlet muttered in reply. 

"Mambo, get back, once they open that thing the weapon's power will be released," Phoenix warned. 

"I'm good where I am T. In my form they shouldn't be able to hurt me," she answered. 

She heard the clanging of metal as she watched the door to the box open. She expected power to fly out, but instead, nothing happened. She watched as a girl, around the same age as she stepped out of the box. The girl had galaxy hair and her eyes glowed a night color. 

"Mambo!" Cap screaming into her ear, "Get back!!!"

Before Scarlet got the chance to respond she was flung back, forcing her out of her water vapor form into her normal form. She hit the ground hard, knocking the air out of her. 

"Mambo is down!" Sold yelled into her ear, "Twins! Chris! Help her! Cap! Try and take her down!" 

The galaxy haired girl meanwhile stocked her way towards Scarlet. But before she could reach her another woman flew in, this one in a Blue, yellow, and Red costume, her blond hair flowing behind her. Her fists glowed a bright yellow.  This was Captain Marvel.

Galaxy, as Scarlet had decided to call her, dodged a quick punch that was thrown by the blond women. 

"Where did you get the power of cosmic!?!" Cap fumed, as she threw her punches, which Galaxy easily dodged. 

"Like you need to know!" Galaxy hissed before grabbing Cap's punch in mid air with one hand. She held onto Cap's fist with anger.

Then it clicked for Cap.

Captain Marvel's eyes widened as she was thrown back, hitting the metal box where Galaxy had been originally kept. 

Galaxy stood tall and proud before speaking loudly, "The name's Alexis, but call me Comet, for I'm the meteor that'll wipe out the Avengers."

Hey, guys! Sorry, it's so short but I don't have anything else written. I'm sort of taking a break to work on the prompts for ROMANOGERS week! YAY!!! I will post the prompts on here but until then, I'll be focusing more on that then my books!
