I just need to start off by saying: this is a rant, so I'm going to vent. Especially because I am sick of reading these clichés all the time. So if you think of writing a Harry Potter fanfiction, do not use ANY of these clichés, no matter how good you think your idea is. Because I guarantee you, it's already been done before.

1) Harry Potter's Twin Sister!
The biggest cliché in HP fanfiction history. And guess what... she falls in love with Draco Malfoy! No one knew about her, not even her parents! Escaping the womb with no one noticing? Now that's a true talent! She either has red or black hair, but always green eyes. Her lightning scar is usually somewhere other than her head - perhaps her neck or shoulder! She's either in Gryffindor or Slytherin because the other houses don't exist!
She's best friends with the Golden Trio; they do everything together! And guess what, she's an animagus too! And the best part is... she is the one who shall kill the dark lord! Step aside brother! (*cough* Mary Sue *cough*) So advice for all fanfiction writers... stay far, far away from the Golden Twins. Because it totally hasn't been done before.
^ what is fucking sad is people in the comments trying to justify their golden twin ideas, when there is no possible way you could make that overused crap original in anyway no matter how hard you try.......
