Half of Wattpad is written by twelve-year-olds that can't spell and the other half can't come up with an original plotline. Like, why is it that the same Werewolf plotline is used across pretty much ALL of the werewolf books, yet they all have tens of millions of reads. Like, WHY?

When was the last time someone thought of good interesting plots, and also knew how to fucking spell when writing them?
Cleaning out my library... it's a nightmare how much shit I hoped would be good but got buried in the pile of cliché, uninteresting and badly written plots.
It's a complete insult to literature.
And what I don't understand is this is by far the most well set up, beautifully designed websites and yet the ones with pretty crappy interfaces like fanfiction.net and A03 are the only ones that have anything fucking decent to read. Maybe it's because for all Wattpad's interface positives their search function is pathetic.
Do you know how easy it is to find good works on them, and how impossible it is on here?
Not to mention, the views and covers aren't the most important fucking thing in the world on those servers. Yeh, you actually have a chance of your new book being fucking read and the algorithm doesn't screw you over like it does on here *see previous chapter*.
