Whether it is fanfiction or original works, everyone has come across this familiar plotline at one point. It involves a one night stand leading to an accidental pregnancy leading to some cliche as a fucking love story. This plot drives me up the wall, because although it has the potential to be a great plot - it is never done correctly. Ever.
So here is the rant!
1) The one night stand leading to accidental pregnancy is almost always pretty realistic. This situation is a reality for many people in real life. However, if I read one more One Direction fandom where some fan meets them at a 1d concert, hooks up, gets knocked up and then they fall in love I swear to god I will throw my phone at the wall.

2) YOU DON'T JUST FALL IN LOVE STRAIGHT AWAY LIKE NO! SEX IS SEX. LOVE IS LOVE. TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.

So if you're going to write something like this, please at least make it realistic and original as possible (quite hard seeing as it has been done a thousand times) rather than regurgitated bullshit.
