Chapter 12

A few weeks had passed after you and Barry shared the kiss and mot much had happened. You worked on controlling your powers and Oliver had to go back to Star City. Thankfully it wasn't awkward between you and Barry, but he didn't ask you be his girlfriend which disappointed you slightly. Your powers were still strongly tied to your emotions, but you managed not to flood the building again. Only a few leaks when you were extremely angry or excited.

"Come on please." You begged Oliver, over the phone.

"{Y/N}, no. You have to stay there and work on your powers."

"But I want to see everyone!" You were asking Oliver if you could come back to Star City for a while.

"No."

"But Ollie!"

"No."

"Please."

"{Y/N}."

"Oliver."

"You know how much I care about you. Trust me this is for your own good, and you did say you wanted to move there. You bought a house for a reason."

"Yeah, but I knew I would be able to come and see you if I wanted."

"I know." You knew he wanted to see you, even though it had only been about a week, but if you grew up seeing someone every day, then not seeing them, then seeing them again only to not see them shortly after, you do begin to miss them. "I have to go."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye." You hung up your phone and sat up off your bed. Downstairs you hear a knock at your door. You slowly stood up and walked down the stairs hoping it wasn't your creepy neighbor. When you opened the door you saw the one, the only, Barry Allen.

"We have something to show you at the lab." He quickly said, with a huge smile on his face.

"What?"

"You'll have to see." He said smirking.

"Really?" You say crossing your arms.

"Yeah."

"Fine." You say, walking out, closing the door behind you. The door automatically locks when closed.

"I'll race you there." He stated.

"Ha ha no" You said in a serious voice.

"Come on! Please!" He begged like a four year old.

"There is no way I can go as fast as you."

"What if I go slower?"

"You will still beat me."

"Please." He continued.

"Ugh. Fine." You say giving in to his cuteness. "3, 2, 1, GO!" You yelled. You took off into the air, flying like Firestorm. You saw Berry running below you, going a lot slower, but still winning. The city looked beautiful from up high. You could see almost every detail. The person walking their dog, the angry taxi driver. When Star labs came into view, you went as fast as you could, but still lost. Barry waited for you in the parking lot. "I told you." You said when you landed. You both talked on your way into the lab about random stuff, with almost constant laughter.

"Finally! What took you so long!" Cisco said when you got in.

"Stuff." You said,nonchalantly. "So what do you want to show me." You said, getting more excited by the second.

"Calm down, don't spring another leak." Barry said.

"Hey that was on accident!" You quickly defended yourself.

"{Y/N}, You are now a part of this team so," He pressed a button,and next to where the Flash suit was a blue suit appeared. "this is your suit." The suit was light blue and it had a mask that just went around your eyes, that was a darker blue, along with gloves and the boots. A huge smile came across your face.

"Oh my gosh! This is so cool!" You say hugging Cisco.

"Try it on and see how it feels." He says. You just nod as you rush off to put it on. When you put it on it was skin tight but you didn't feel like it was. I was extremely comfortable. When you showed it to Cisco he just started to talk about what was in the suit and what it did. You weren't paying attention that much, but you did catch that he said it enhanced your powers. Once he was done talking about it, Barry came up to you, in his suit.

"Let's take it on a test run." He stated. You just nodded and followed him. The rest of the day was just having fun.
