*The next day*
You walked into the lab at about 9 in the morning wearing a black t-shirt with a black leather jacket (no such thing as too much black right?). You were also wearing jeans from Hot Topic, one leg was black and the other one was red and black plaid, while your shoes were tall (almost to your knees but not quite) combat boots. Finally your hair was down and the only makeup you wore was mascara.
"Hey!" You said walking in, happier than usual... for no reason... whatsoever...
"Hey!" Cisco replied, looking up from the computer.
"Why are you so happy?" Caitlin asked, with a smile on her face.
"No reason." You said, smiling more.
"Oh really?" Barry said from behind you.
"Yup." You said laughing a little.
"Wow, thanks." He said walking in front of you, pulling you into a warm hug. You wrapped your arms around his back, went up on your tiptoes and quickly kissed his cheek.
"I so ship it." You heard Cisco say quietly from behind you. Barry released you from the warm hug and turned to Caitlin.
"We are going on a date tomorrow." He told her, smiling.
"Oh." She said looking at you, laughing a little.
*Time skip of a few hours because*
You leaned back in your chair, tossing your Xbox controller to the table. You and Cisco had been playing Grand Theft Auto 5 for the past 2 hours.
"WHY DID YOU PUT A BOUNTY ON ME?!" You yelled.
"Because you blew up my yacht and I told you not to." He said said matter-of-factly.
"I thought it was the other guys!" You said, grabbing your controller again. There had been no metahuman activity today, and you hadn't gotten a real job yet so this is how you spent your time. In the game you just found your Bati 801 (in red)

"Time to meet your maker!" You said, in the most evil voice you could muster. With that you shot him down. "When I said blood feud, I meant blood feud."
"Okay, well I'm tired of you not playing by the rules..." He started, only for you to cut him off.
"Yes allow me to play by the rules in GTA V. I'll drive on the right side on the road, and I will not shoot pedestrians."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He said standing up and walking out of the room. Laughing you stood up.
"{Y/N}." Barry said.
"Yes?" You said turning to him. He grabbed your hands with his hands and waked closer to you so that your chests were almost touching.
"I need to go to the CCPD so do you want to come with?" He asked you. Before you had a chance to answer someone came in.
"Hey, Barry, I decided to bring the files here" You looked to your right and saw a tall black man standing in the door way. Barry let go of one of your hands and faced the new man.
"Hey, Joe."
"Am I interrupting something?" The guy asked.
"Uh... no."
"Okay, who is this?"
"Joe, this is {Y/N}. {Y/N} this is Joe. He took care of me after my dad was put in jail." You nodded remembering what Barry told you about how he got his powers and what happened with his parents.
"Hi." You said, sheepishly, lightly squeezing Barry's hand.
"Hi. Anyway I knew you were coming for the files so I thought I would just bring them to you." He said, walking towards both of you, handing Barry the files.
"Thanks."
"Could I talk to you alone for a minute?" Joe asked.
"Yeah." You let go of Barry's hand, gave him a quick smile, and walked out of the room.
