School sucks ass.

That's what I thought as I grumpily slaughtered toward my last class.

I hadn't seen Jarred all day and only lucky at lunch briefly and I was beginning to feel a bit lonely.

That's until I felt the table shift and his bright smile caressed me back to happiness.

That's when I saw his leg.

It's was all plastered up with a grey cast.

"What did you do jarred?!" I gasped.

He tried to hide his goofy smile by biting his lip. Jarred inched closer to me ignoring the teachers lecture,

"I do play hockey ya know."

"As a matter of I didn't know that. You never told me." I smirked.

"Well I guess you should pay a little more attention Anna." He winked and again ignored the teachers requests to pull out our binders like I already did.

"So what happened, did you like get in some hot hockey fight?" I giggled.

He rolled his eyes playfully,

"No I didn't get into a fight. I just like crashed into the net." His brown eyes watched mine as he talked.

"Oh." I mumbled focusing on his hypnotizing features.

Jarred nodded and actually started to listen to the poor teacher.

The bell rang and I started to leave when I heard jarred call out my name. He was still sitting in his chair packing up his things.

He jumped up from his chair his backpack and binders in one arm and crutches in the other. He went to switch hands when all his things fell out in front of his with a loud noise. As the students walked by Jarred's rosy cheeks went a deep red. He frantically started to pick up the things and I ran over to help.

"Awe jarred." I giggled and carried his binders while he slipped on his backpack holding either crutch in his hands.

"Okay I'm ready now." He mumbled, still embarrassed.

"Luckily it's not a bad break, I'll be out of the stupid thing in a few weeks."

"That's good." I nodded, slipping my hands into my pocket.

"Maybe you can come see one of my games, ya know when I'm all better." He smiled while ruffling his brown curls.

I smiled,

"Can I be one of those crazy girlfriends and wear you practice jersey and make a bunch of posters saying your the best?" I giggled as we walked down the halls.

Jarred smiled at me for a long while.

"Well you could but you'd have to be my girlfriend first." He said with a wink before veering off to his locker leaving me in the crowd.
