Lucky came into my room at about ten am. His figure standing in the doorway the bright kitchen outside my room letting light poor into my dark room.
"What?" I mumbled rubbing my eyes.
"I made you breakfast." He said.
"There's bacon." Lucky added walking out of my room.
I showered, changed and brushed my teeth before meeting him for breakfast.
He handed me a plate of eggs and bacon as I hopped up onto the bar stool.
"I think we need to talk about last night." He mumbled as he cleaned up the kitchen.
"Lucky." I sighed with a mouthful of eggs.
"I didn't mean to um., kiss you it was just- um. I.. Um-" Lucky's cheeks were red and I started to laugh.
"Lucky oh my god." I giggled. He frowned.
"What the hell?" He added.
"I was going to kiss you. I just, didn't then."
Lucky leaned on the bar facing me.
"Then why didn't you!" He said.
I pulled his shirt and my lips smashed into his.
Sure it was quick, it was abrupt, it was unplanned.. But wasn't all of this.
Maybe this whole time I had been looking at lucky the wrong way.
Maybe this whole mess was really all just falling into place imperfectly.
Lucky pulled away from my lips wide eyed. His hands grasped the bar table as his mouth was set ajar.
I sucked on my bottom lip a hopeful smile watching him.
"Andrea Andrea Andrea!" He swiftly moved around the bar till his lips met mine again. His hands on my small baby bump and he kissed me again and again through laughter and giggles.
I placed a hand on his chest pushing him back a few centimetres."Okay okay. No need to go all crazy Lucky."
"Why?" He kissed me.
"I," he kissed me.
"Think." He kissed me.
"I should." He kissed me.
"Be going," he kissed my lips yet again,
"Crazy." I rolled my eyes and hopped off the bar stool lucky trailed behind me. God he was like a dog who just got given a treat, and wanted a lot more.
"Lucky if you don't chill out I'll take that kiss back." I warned him whist standing in the doorway of my room.
"Can't do that babe." He chucked.
"Babe?" I gagged frowning at him stupidness.
"And I can too take that kiss back."
Lucky laughed and shook his head, "No."
"I was there. I saw the whole thing." He added."What whole thing?" I murmured and closed my bedroom door in his face making sure to lock it so he wouldn't follow me.
"Let me take you on a date." His voice was muffled through the door but The words felt crystal clear. We went from just being friends to being...what? I'm so confused I just kissed him and then suddenly he wants to take me on a date? My stomach felt in a knot. What the hell does this boy want to do? I haven't even confessed my liking to him. Fricken confident jackass.
I walked up to my door,
"Why do you like me?"
"Of course I do." He answered. I sighed,
"No I mean like like." God I sound like I'm in grade five again.
"I know what you meant Andrea."
I paused lost in thought.
"Oh."
"Oh and in oh oh or oh as in oh?" He laughed mocking me,
I opened the door and stared at him until his smile multiplied onto my face copying his.
"I'll go on a date with you Lucky blue."
"Great lets go right now."
My eyes traveled to the microwave clock.
10:23 am
"No it's still early."
"This is gonna be a whole day thing. Get ready."
He planted a kiss on my lips and I was off to my bedroom.
