It never stops, never ever stops. I pushed myself farther back into the corner of the tiled shower. My back pressed up against the cold tile.
I was trying so hard to calm down. Tears streamed down my red flustered cheeks as I tried, tried so, so hard to calm down.
I couldn't, my heart was beating a mile a minute and I felt so hopeless. The walls kept growing farther and farther apart, felt as thought the air was crushing my lungs inside me.
I can't breathe
I can't breathe
I can't bre- the door swung open and Lucky walked in.
I scrambled to my feet as quick as I possibly could but it was too late.
"Alec, were you just crying?" Lucky asked a clear look of judgement across his face.
I wiped my eyes as my cheeks turned a deep red of humiliation.
"No." I lied. My voice was small and out of breath.
My heart felt like it was gonna pound out of my chest.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes."
"A-are you sure? I mean it's not often that I walk into a bathroom and see someone crying in the corner of the shower."
"I-I wasn't c-cry-crying." I could barely talk now my breath was cut so short I was forcing myself to suck in huge breaths.
"your definitely not ok." Lucky frowned a little.
"No I'm fi-"
"Luke! Can you come here?"
"No!" I tried to cancel Luckys plan of bringing Luke in here but it was no use.
I felt so sick. I couldn't breathe at all.
But I knew I was just having a panic attack.
But I could be dying. Maybe I'm having a heart attack. I'm definitely having a heart attack.
That's when someone shook my shoulders and I opened my eyes quickly in fear to realize it was Luke.
I was still hyperventilating and I grabbed onto his shirt tightly pulling him closer to me.
Lucky was still standing behind Luke by the door.
"W-where's Andrea?" I whispered.
"She went to get groceries she'll be back right away."
"I-i don't feel good." I stared at Alec through worried eyes.
He came into the bathroom with a worried look and his expression has yet to differ.
"What's happening to you?" He asked.
"Nothing im Fine." I muttered feeling embarrassed.
Or I'm dying.
"Cmon Alec."
I ignored Luke, feelings more and more that panicked feeling. My stomach felt sick, my head was pounding and I could barely breathe. I was hyperventilating pretty bad now, trying to suck in air.
Luke glanced up at Lucky who also looked just as worried.
"Sh-should we call an ambulance? He's not even like breathing!" Luke asked Lucky.
"Um I don't know! I'll ask Andrea."
"I-I'm F-fi-fine!" I mumbled.
"Your not!" Luke yelled at me, he was obviously stressed not knowing what the hell to do.
I went to stand up, forcing myself, to show Luke I was fine when I felt incredibly dizzy. Everything went black as if the lights turned off. I could feel his grip catch my and that was it.
.
I woke up from the sting of a hand on my cheek. I opened my eyes from pain just as Luke's hand collided with my cheek again.
I launched myself at him taking him by surprise and out of anger in punched him across the face. He shielded his face the best he could and kicked me off of him.
His lip was bleeding and he wasn't impressed.
"Why'd you slap me?" I glared at him. I felt so tired and weak now.
"Because you fucking fainted! I didn't know what to do! I splashed you with water, I shook you, I yelled at you, there was nothing else."
I stopped and froze staring at him. I now realized I was drenched, my shirt clung to me making me feel even more self-conscious. But I was mainly concerned and confused about the boy across from me who had tears in his eyes.
"Are you crying?" I asked him, he stopped and wiped his eyes.
"Why were you crying."
"I'm not." He muttered and stood up.
"I'm sorry I attacked you." I mumbled with a chuckle as I stood up too.
"It's fine." He sounded mad now.
"Are you sure? I reall-"
"Drop it." He snapped as he glanced at himself in the mirror, staring at his lip and then walking out of the bathroom.
"Luke,"
He glared at me again before grabbing his coat and leaving.
