I woke up the the subsided headache pain but a broken heart. My chest physically hurt, almost more than my head.
He knows I like him, he knows. How embarrassing.
I came out to the living room where everyone was sitting including Alec. His right eye had a dark shadow under it and his bottom lip was split. He glanced up at me and then quickly back down at his phone.
I sighed and sat down beside Andrea.
"So should we go out for breakfast?" Andrea asked the group.
Everyone nodded yes.
We went to a small diner where there were few people eating even at the common breakfast time.
I sat down beside Alec which I could tell bothered him entirely.
He smelled really good today.
He looked good too, the bruise under his eye and the split lip created a sexy sultry look I couldn't get out of my head.
I'm not gay though..
I needed to show Alec I wasn't into him, I needed to so badly.
We went to the bar that night that was packed with plenty of beautiful women all dressed to impress. As much as I felt towards Alec, I was still as turned on as I should be with these girls. We all walked in together and took a seat at the booth.
"This place is huge." Andrea commented which got an eye roll from Alec. He wasn't in a good mood, which made me hesitant to do what I was going to do tonight. But I had to show him I wasn't into him and the rest of the group. I couldn't handle being looked at like I was, into men. My thoughts were interrupted when a tall blonde woman came up to our table.
Her name tag read: Jessica. And right beside her name tag were her large breasts.
"Is there anything I can grab for you guys tonight?" She asked, her eyes falling onto mine.
I glanced around the table to see people talking amongst themselves.
"Sorry my friends are still deciding I think." I gave her a smirk.
She delivered,
"Well is there anything I can get you?" Her hand lightly brushed my shoulder.
"Whatever you have on tap. Your choice." I added giving her a little flirt back.
"Well we have quite a few options on tap.. I can show you them up at the bar?" I glanced back at my friends giving them a wink before following the beautiful waitress to the bar.
I made sure to not look at Alec, he couldn't ruin this for me.
.
"Wow he already is gone off to suck face." I muttered. My face instantly heated up when I realized how jealous I sounded.
"Well that's Luke for you." Lucky laughed.
I frowned a little slightly confused by the comment. Lucky picked up on it.
"Well before you came along Luke was a master at picking up girls. This was what he did every night we would go out. Just see how many women he could- uh- yanno."
I glanced over at the bar to see him leaning over it flirting with the waitress.
"I need a shot or two." I rolled my eyes.
"Now that's what I like to hear." Lucky grinned. He called another waitress over and told her.
.
It was about an hour later, Luke and that waitress were no where to be seen but I could care less. I was wasted. I definitely had more than 'a shot or two' I could barely think.
"Luke is definitely getting it on right now." I muttered.
"Hey he has duties he needs to fulfill." Lucky laughed also also impacted greatly by the booze.
I rolled my eyes and got up.
"Whatever I'm going to grab another drink."
I stumbled my way to the bar and sat down at one of the stools.
"Oh that spots taken."
I turned to see the girl speaking. Her bitchy face instantly turned. She was gorgeous, jaw dropping beautiful.
"S-Sorry." I scrambled to get up but her hand quickly caught mine. I stopped and stared at her.
"The seats not taken, sit. Please." She gave a small smile. She looked as if she was a model.
"Your beautiful." I said, the liquor taking control of me.
"Your too kind." She smiled.
I got to knowing her quite fondly actually. Her name was Bella. She was still going to university, to become a vet actually. She seemed to be as into me as I was dawning over her.
"May I interrupt?" Luke asked.
He was on the other side of Bella his eyes on her.
She glanced at me one last time.
"It was nice meeting you Alec." She said politely before giving her attention to Luke.
He gave me a smirk of satisfaction when she commented on his 'stunning blue eyes.'
I could still see the stain of lipstick below his bottom lip, and the drunken button up of his shirt. Even his hair looked a little messy, maybe from a woman tugging her fingers through it.
"Do you mind if I order you a drink?" Luke asked Bella who replied with a kiss to his cheek.
I was furious.
And drunk.
And confused completely.
One last smirk and his blue eyes caught mine.
I had to get out of here.
Next thing I knew I was pushing my way out of the bar and hyperventilating by the time I got to the street.
I, again, was having a full on panic attack.
I was crying now, unable to stop it at all.
It hurt, it hurt so badly.
"Fuck Alec." Luke said as he found me.
He was out of breath and worried.
"G-go away." I wiped my eyes. My cheeks burning red with embarrassment.
"I was just buggin you man!" Luke went on,
"You don't have to get so upset about it she was definitely about to suck your d-"
"Luke!" I yelled at him.
"Go away." I breathed out. I hated this feeling. I was so overwhelmed and the drunkenness made it so much worse.
"No way in hell im going to leave you alone out here." Luke muttered.
I turned and shoved him making Luke stumble back a few steps.
"Leave me alone!"
"Your wasted Alec, and your freaking the fuck out- if I leave you your gonna hurt yourself." He said calmly trying to assure me.
The alcohol worsened the effects of my panic attack I felt like I was actually dying.
"At least just come sit at the booth." Luke said.
"No! N-no w-w-way I-i-i-i"
"Goddammit Alec why is it so bad?" Luke frowned which worried me more. It's worse than normal? Should I be freaking out? Is this actually not just a panic attack??
"Go away!" I yelled at him. I couldn't even think properly anymore.
"I-i don't know what's h-h-ha-hap-happening."
Luke grabbed my hand and dragged me around the corner to a less busy spot.
He held my shoulders, his eyes meeting mine.
"You are okay."
"No I'm not!" I cried. God I felt horrible.
"No."
"N-no I'm not!"
"No I'm not, no I'm not, no I'm not."
"I-i-I-"
"Fuck it." Luke whispered.
"I-I-"
His lips cut me off.
He kissed me slowly, pressing me against the wall.
He kissed me harder,
With more passion. I kissed him back, his hands held my cheeks, pulling me in. My heart slowed down. I felt a huge weight lifted off my chest. Till he grew tense. He stumbled back quickly a look of terror on his face.
"Don't tell anyone about this." He yelled at me now angry as he turned back around the corner. I chased after him without hesitation. I gripped the back of his shirt and pulled him back.
"Stop fucking playing me!" I yelled at Luke.
He stood there and stared at me.
"I-I'm not ready." He said quietly. His eyes held shame that hurt my heart.
His eyes stared into mine. Devoured them. They were searching for something, anything. I didn't know what to show him.
"What?" I muttered feeling embarrassed by his stare but he caught me off guard by kissing me again.
It was just as amazing as the first. And just like that he was gone back into the bar.
Left me craving more
