So it's 8:00 am [Tuesday morning] and my mom just told me something. She was a little creeped out by it, and so was I. So, my dog is nine years old; almost ten. A few summers ago, he suddenly got really scared of thunder and rain. He will whine, bark, and pace around the house.
So last evening [It is now 9 at night; tuesday] it was a bit windy, then it died down. I fell asleep. I woke up around 4:30 due to mouth pain from braces. My dog was lying right next to me. I don't remember picking him up onto my bed. My dog is a smaller one, and it's hard for him to jump up onto my bed, so I pick him up. When he is really desperate, the dog will jump up on his own.
So this morning my mom told me that he seemed freaked out from something all night, keeping them awake. Both my parents said it was not stormy or windy, yet he was pacing around the second floor and whining, as if something scary was there. It seemed like finally he went into my room and got into my bed.
So here is a theory: Perhaps he saw or felt something unpleasant and got scared. Apparently animals are sensitive to the paranormal, so it makes sense for him to see something. When he got into my room, he really wanted to get onto my bed, jumping up on his own. Also get this; he was lying really close to me, which he rarely does.
Maybe he wanted to protect or comfort from me from something during the night? Though it's just a crazy little thought of mine.
