Okay, so I know the title sounds weird, but hear me out!
This happened last night, from what I remember looking at my phone, around 3:33 - 3:35 am. I woke up due to rain outside, but didn't open my eyes because I heard something walking into my room. The footsteps sounded like an adult, and they walked up beside my bed and up next to where I was sleeping. I felt my heart drop and that feeling if I woke up and looked at where the noise was from, I would be in danger.
I felt something touch the back of my arm, and I suddenly turned over and forced my eyes open to see if anything was there. Of course it was pitch black and I couldn't see anything, so I quickly grabbed my phone (seeing 3:34 am on the Lock Screen) and shone the flashlight at where the noise was coming from.
Nothing was there, and I could hear my mother sleeping down the hallway and the door to my room closed like how I left it.
For some reason, I did not feel safe with these footsteps and I am sort of scared to go back to bed tonight.
