This was in grade nine, in April 2014. It was rainy, and I was walking to school. There wasn't many people or cars outside due the rain. I remember it was a quiet and empty morning. It was if time had slowed down. My school is about a kilometre or so away, (about a 20 minute walk). I was about half way or so when I heard someone call my name loudly. Like they were behind me and trying to catch my attention. It sounded like a woman. I looked behind me and nothing was there. No one was there. I was the only person on the street. Not even a car in sight.
So I shook it off, hoping I was hearing things. A few minutes later I heard the call again. Again, I shook it off. On the way home from school, it was still raining, (I live in a very rainy city. A lot of rain/ storms in the spring and summer happen) and I was walking home again.
Like the morning, It was if all humans had vanished. Everyone was getting a ride home. On the way home I heard the same call again. It happened about three times.
It happened a few days afterwards again on a sunny day, and yet, nobody was behind me. Nobody is ever behind me. But after that, I never heard the call again.
