Leo

Here is my idea of what happens when Leo comes back. I know it doesn't match the Trials of Apollo, but this is how I would want it to happen.

It was a regular night at Camp Half-blood.

Music trickled from the Big House. Giggles could be heard from the Nymphs, who were playing in the woods.

The campers were all in their cabins, most fast asleep.

Piper and Jason sat on the top the Zeus cabin, pointing out constellations when they saw something different.

"What's that?" Piper asked, pointing to a light in the distant sky.

It seemed gold as if the light was just a reflexion. It grew larger and larger and seemed to be approaching Camp Half-blood.

"I don't..." Jason said, before stopping himself," it's Festus."

"Leo!" Piper said, jumping up.

The couple rushed down the ladder, and out of the cabin. They ran down to the lake to see Festus approaching the ground.

A small crowd was gathering, all of them staring at the bronze dragon.

Piper rushed forward when it landed on the beach.

She pulled Leo into a bone crushing hug the moment his feet touched the ground.

"Can't breathe Beauty Queen," Leo complained.

Piper let go and wiped the tears from her face.

Leo was about to crack a joke when her fist landed on his nose.

"We thought you were dead," she screamed at him.

Leo rubbed his sore nose and looked up guiltily.

"Sorry, Pipes," he apologized.

"We're just glad you're back," Jason said, placing a calming hand on his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Of course you are," Leo said, giving a goofy grin.

He turned around and helped a pretty girl off of Festus.

"This is Calypso," he said when she was on the ground.

"I'm Pip-" she was interrupted by screams coming from the Athena cabin.

"Annabeth?" Leo asked, about to take off.

Piper placed a hand on his chest.

"Yeah," Jason answered.

Just then a noise came from the Poseidon cabin as Percy began running to Annabeth.

"Nightmares," Piper said sadly," they both get them."

"Chiron is considering letting her move into Percy's cabin," Jason said.

"Percy Jackson?" Calypso asked.

"Yeah," Piper said, startled," you know him?"

"Knew him," she answered vaguely.

"What is going on here?" Chiron asked.

He saw Leo and a smile grew on his face.

"It's good to see you're alive," Chiron told him.

"So Valdez is back," Nico said sleepily," not a good enough reason to wake me up."

He turned around and sulked away towards his cabin.

"Valdez!" Percy called as he and Annabeth began quickening their pace towards the group.

"Leo," Annabeth said, embracing him.

"Glad you're not dead," Percy said.

Leo saw how tired the two were, and how Annabeth's eyes were red from crying.

"Percy," he said gesturing over to Calypso.

"Calypso," he said, stunned.

"Hold it," Annabeth said, placing herself between them. She turned to face Percy. "Calypso from the island you were blown too when you caused the volcano eruption? The time everyone thought you died?"

There was a hint of anger in her voice, something she was trying hard to cover up.

"Yeah," Percy answered awkwardly.

Annabeth's fist curled together as she tried to calm herself.

"You're Annabeth?" Calypso asked.

"I'm gonna go, Percy," she said, squeezing his hand.

She walked towards her cabin, Percy looking sadly towards her.

"I see why you left," Calypso said sarcastically.

"She has her reason's to dislike you," he defended.

He turned around and ran to catch up with Annabeth, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Are they any better?" Leo asked worriedly.

"Worse," Piper said sadly," they were able to hold it together for a while, but now..."

"They're lucky they have each other," Jason finished.

Leo looked sadly at the couple walking away.

"What happened to them?" Calypso asked.

"They had a pretty nasty fall to the pit of doom," Leo answered.

"The pit of doom?" Calypso repeated.

"Tartarus," Piper answered.

"They went to Tartarus?" Calypso asked, shocked.

"Haven't been the same since," Jason told her.

"I know it has been a very eventful evening," Chiron interrupted the depressing silence, "but now it's time for bed.  Leo, you know where your cabin is, and Calypso, you can stay in the big house. There's a guest room there."

The crowd dispersed, leaving Leo, Jason, and Piper.

"You disappear again," Piper warned," and I'll kill you."

Leo smirked as the couple walked away.

"Sure thing Beauty Queen."
