So it's been a while since I updated this story. I'm afraid that my inspiration comes in short bursts, and that they don't usually last long enough to write an entire story. In fact, I probably have over 20 chapters in this story that I've started but haven't finished, as well as a couple of other fan fictions and some original stories that I am working on, though very slowly. I apologize for how slowly these updates are coming, but for those of you who are patient enough to stay around, here's another short story. I'm kind of a big Frazel shipper, so here is an adorable one-shot including Frank's lactose intolerance. I hope you all enjoy!!!
----------------------------------------
Every Monday morning before class, Frank enters the same coffee shop. He smiles at the same girl behind the counter, who greets him with a wave. The pretty girl, with mesmerizing eyes and a smile that cheers him up every week. Who would greet him with a wave and ask about his week. Who acted like she really cared.
There was an issue with this coffee shop, though to Frank, it seemed small compared to getting to see the prettiest girl every week. The issue was that they didn't have almond milk, and Frank, was lactose intolerant.
The first few weeks of the semester, he always asked for almond milk in his coffee, and every week she would tell him that they didn't have any.
After some time he realized there was no use asking for it, so he eventually stopped asking. He wondered why he continued going there when he couldn't get what he wanted. Then he realized it was the girl behind the counter who always managed to make him smile on his least favorite day of the week.
It was a week into his second semester when he walked into to the familiar coffee shop.
"Hi, Frank," Hazel greeted, waving at him.
As always he smiled as he approached the counter.
"The usual?" she questioned, already preparing his coffee.
"Yep," he said, placing the cash on the counter.
"How's class?" she asked.
"Good, though I think a couple of professors might have their hearts set on making this semester as difficult as possible," he answered, grabbing the coffee from her," thank you."
"See you next week," she told him, a sly smile decorating her face.
He walked out the door, and was already down the block when he took a sip. He froze as he realized that there was milk in it, almond milk.
He turned back to coffee shop, and ran through the door.
"Since when do you carry almond milk?" he asked, pointing to his coffee.
"We still don't," Hazel replied, a blush rising up her cheeks.
"What do you mean?" he questioned," there's definitely almond milk in this."
"You always seemed so disappointed every week," she told him shyly," so I bought some for you."
Frank's look of confusion changed into a huge smile.
"Hazel," he started," would you like to go on a date with me."
As soon as the words had left his mouth, he stopped, and became rather embarrassed.
"I'm sorry... I mean... uhh... only if you want to that is," he hurried out.
"Frank," Hazel said sweetly, causing him to pause," I've been waiting weeks for you to ask me out."
"Really?" he questioned.
"Really."

It's very short, so I apologize (again) for that. For those of you looking for more Percy Jackson fan fiction, I have a story called Fighting in Forks, which is completed. It's a crossover between Percy Jackson and Twilight, so if that interests you, go check it out. Thank you for reading, and hopefully I can get my act together and start updating at a more reasonable pace.
