Here's some Hazel and Frank fluff. I am a big Frazel shipper, but sadly I feel like there aren't enough stories about them, so here's one more. I hope you all enjoy it!!
------------------------------
It was a quiet morning inside of Buried Jewels. Jazz hummed quietly over the radio while Hazel Levesque, a pretty girl with gold colored eyes and chocolate colored skin, sat patiently behind the counter. She absentmindedly flipped through the magazine that Piper, her coworker, had left her.
She was pleased to hear the front bell ring and looked up from the article about dating.
Why would she need to know that? She asked herself, no one was ever interested enough in her to go on a date.
She smiled warmly though at the man who walked in, and decided to forget the article for the moment.
The costumer was handsome, Hazel couldn't deny that. He smiled at her, and she felt her stomach somersault.
"How can I help you?" she asked calming herself.
"I'm looking for a necklace," he explained shyly.
"Who's it for?" Hazel questioned, praying that he didn't have a girlfriend.
He blushed and glanced at his feet.
"The most important woman in my life," he admitted.
Hazel tried not to look disappointed.
Of course, he had a girlfriend. The way he described her, they could be married.
"What type of necklace are you looking for?" Hazel inquired while brushing a curl out of her face.
The red in his cheeks started to grow as he mumbled something under his breath.
Hazel chuckled slightly at his awkward attitude.
"I'm sorry," she said," what was that?"
"I don't know what type of necklace," he revealed," all I know is I want to get her something to show her how much I love her."
"How about something like this," she suggested, pointing at a necklace in the case.
He stayed there for half an hour, trying to decide what he wanted. It was spent with many blushes from the man, and many giggles from Hazel.
"Thank you," he told Hazel as he took the bag containing the necklace.
"You're welcome," Hazel replied," come again."
----------------------------------------
The next week Hazel was surprised to see him walk through the door again. Sadly she was in the middle of helping another customer.
"I'll be with you in a minute," she called," feel free to look around."
Ten minutes later she finished up with her customer and turned her attention to the handsome man.
"Did she like the necklace?" she asked as she approached him.
He smiled broadly.
"She loved it so much, she wanted earrings to match," he revealed proudly.
He began to pull something out of his pocket.
"I have a photo of the necklace," he told her," I figured you won't remember what necklace I bought."
Hazel waved him off.
"Of course I remember it," she chided," I made it."
"You made it?" he stepped back.
Hazel giggled.
"Yes I did," she told him," I have the earrings that match in the back. I'll be back in just a moment."
He loved the earrings, of course, and bought them immediately.
"Thank you, Miss-" he stopped.
"Hazel," she said.
"Hazel," he smiled," I hope to see you soon."
He walked out, sending a wave before he shut the door.
----------------------------
The very next day the man returned to the shop, looking quite nervous.
"You want a matching ring too?" Hazel questioned when she saw him.
He looked at her quizzically for a moment before realizing what she meant.
"Oh, um... no," he muttered.
"Then how can I help you?" she asked.
"I, well, uhm," he tried.
Hazel smiled sweetly as his cheeks heated up.
"Well, I've made enough of a fool of myself," he muttered to himself before speaking up," would you like to go out with me?"
"I... um... sorry, what?" Hazel stared at him blankly.
"Would you like to, you know, go on a date..." he repeated," with me."
"What about your girlfriend?" she asked.
"My what?" he questioned, scrunching up his nose.
"Your girlfriend, fiancee, wife, what ever," Hazel told him," the girl you got the necklace for."
He stared at her for a moment.
"The necklace was for my mom," he stated dumbly.
Hazel's eyes widened in surprise at his declaration.
"Oh," she said.
"I'm sorry," he said, turning to leave," I should go."
"Wait," Hazel called before he left," I would love to go on a date with you."
"Really?" he questioned.
Hazel smiled and nodded.
"I close at six tonight," she told him," can I expect you here?"
He nodded quickly, smiling at her once more before he left.
