The wind blew at Percy, his unruly black hair whipping around his face. His eyes gazed into nothing, trying to forget the images that haunted his mind.
The deck of The Argo was deserted, as Percy had offered to take the shift, it wasn't like he could sleep.
The only sounds that occupied the seemingly empty ship were Festus's creaking and the waves splashing against the boat.
"Percy," the voice startled him.
He looked back, a small smile appearing on his lips.
"Sorry," Annabeth said, taking his hand," I didn't mean to scare you."
He watched as she looked towards the water, allowing it to replace the dreams.
She grabbed his arm as the wind blew, pressing into his side.
"Nightmares?" he asked, squeezing her hand.
She rested her head against his shoulder embracing his warmth and nodded her head slightly.
"Are they getting better?" he asked, pressing his lips to her cool forehead.
"Worse," she answered, her voice quivering.
"Me, too," he told her, wrapping her in his arms.
She buried herself in his chest, willing the visions to disappear.
"How are we going to get through this?" she asked.
"Together," he answered, pressing a kiss to her forehead," like always."
------------------------------------------
Just a little something. I don't like when Percy and Annabeth are fine after all that they went through, they're still human. So here they are, trying to figure out how to keep going after everything, and not necessarily knowing the answer.
