Chapter 8

“I can give you a makeover!” Allie said.

“No thanks.”

“Oh come on. Please I want to give you one.”

“No, I really don’t want one.”

“Fine.” Allie said.

“I think I want to visit Courtney in the hospital.” I said after a moment of silence.

“WHAT are you crazy?”

“I’m serious. Do you want to go with me?”

“No im not taking that chance.”

“Fine, then I will go by myself.”

“Why are you all of the sudden acting like this. Courtney is a mean person. Why do you want to visit her?”

“I don’t want to be constantly fighting with her. I just want to be civil.”

“But she’s mean and cruel. If she hurts you well…..I told you so.”

And that was the end of are conversation because she walked away. I didn’t want to end it on a bad note with Allie, but this must be done.

“I think you should go now.” I told myself.

“I think you should apologize to Allie.” My inside was telling me.

“No. She will see im right and we will get over it.” I told my inside voice.

“What if you and her are never friends again and you stop talking.”

“The fight wasn’t bad im sure she will get over it.”

“NO SHE WON’T. She hates you. You’re a terrible friend. How can you stand your self?”

“SHUT UP.” I yelled.

Everybody looked at me. I got uber red so I ran off. Ran home.

I got home and I asked my dad if he would drive me to the hospital.

“Are you sure. Isn’t she mean to you?”

“WHAT. Who told you that?”

“Umm…nobody.”

“Well anyways, I want to make amends with her.”

“Ok.”

We got in the car and we drove off.

Dad dropped me off in the front. I walked in and went to the front desk.

“What room is Courtney Cost in?”

“May I ask who you are?”

“Myyy name?”

“Yes.”

“My names….Jessica Turns. I’m one of her best friends.”

“Ok follow me.”

We walked down the halls. She opened the door and said “Courtney Jessica’s here.”

“Jessica who?”

“Jessica Turns your friend.”

“Jessica!”

“Go ahead.” The nurse said and patted my shoulder.

The nurse left the room and I walked around the corner and saw her glancing out of the window from her bed.
