Chapter Thirteen: Valentine's Day Dance
The next day, (Y/N) was feeling really happy about what happened the previous day. She finally had a date for the dance!
As she skipped merrily into homeroom, Dan glanced up at her.
"You seem happy today," he commented, "What's up?"
"I got a date for the dance!" she answered, grinning broadly.
Dan felt slightly hurt but he still asked, "Who?"
"Goten!" she responded gaily, sitting down.
I'll have to teach that bast*rd a lesson for stealing my girl, he thought to himself.

The big day finally came. (Y/N) glanced at herself at the full-length mirror once more. She was wearing a floor-length (F/C) dress that was in different shades. It was dotted with sparkles and had pearls attatched to the waist area and hem of the dress. She was wearing (F/C) eyeshadow with a hint of sparkles in it. Her cheeks were done up with pink blusher, and on her lips were pink lip gloss. Her hair was nicely curled and was tied into bangs. (Sorry if you have short hair.) On her ears were small diamond ear studs. (Apologies if you don't have pierced ears. I don't have pierced ears and don't wish to pierce my ears anytime soon.) She wore a pair of (F/C) strap heels and a bracelet to finish the look. She grabbed her purse and headed downstairs.
"I'm going off Grandpa!" she told him.
"Have fun!" he said.
She smiled at him and she opened the door. Goten was outside, waiting for her. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a black tie and a white shirt inside. He also wore a pair of black pants and black shoes. His hair was cut and gelled up. (Imagine him in his GT hairstyle. I know GT isn't cannon, but I prefer his hair in GT compared to the final episode of DBZ. Just deal with it.)
"You look nice," she complimented.
"Thanks," he said, smiling back, "You too."
She stepped out of the house before Goten swept her off the floor and carried her bridal style before flying off into the night sky.

(Y/N) and Goten entered the hall together and they marveled at the sight of the decorated hall. Streamers were hung gracefully around the room. The lights were dim, which gave the room its romantic ambience. Tables and chairs could be seen, and there was a huge table of food and drinks.
"Hi Dan!" (Y/N) exclaimed, waving at her friend who happened to be near them.
"Hey (Y/N)," the blond said with a smile.
He took one look at Goten before addimg, "So this must be Goten."
"It's nice to meet you," Goten said with a big smile before extending it.
Dan shook it, but just to make (Y/N) happy.
"I'll go check out what's there to eat," she told the boys before walking off towards the food table.
Once she was out of an earshot, Dan hissed to Goten, "You back off (Y/N). She's my girl."
Goten just rolled his eyes at him before walking off to join (Y/N). Dan followed him, just to make sure that he did not do anything towards (Y/N).
