Chapter 3:

Melody's P.O.V.

“Melody, what are you doing out here?” A soft voice asked, as if they were trying to comfort a scared child.

After a few seconds my brain clicked and I recognised the voice.

“Gray?” I called out to him.

He stepped out of the darkness of the shadows and began to walk forward a little; his dark blonde hair was untidy and fell over one of his gray-blue eyes. He stopped suddenly and turned around, his back now facing me.

A new voice echoed through the lane way “Gray! What are you -oh. Well what 'ave we got 'ere?”

A man appeared beside Gray and I gulped. He had a thick English accent and he was eyeing me intently.

He had dark green eyes, like a tropical rainforest, and thick, charcoal black hair that fell around his face, giving him a slightly feminine appearance even though his hair wasn’t very long.

“Stay away from her.” There was a warning edge to Gray’s voice as he spoke to the mystery man. The man chuckled, unfazed by the sinister tone to my brother’s voice.

Another man with light brown hair and grey eyes like dark pearls rounded the corner and took his place by my brother. He was quite good looking. I avoided eye contact with all of them; I had a very bad feeling about this situation.

The brown haired man turned to Gray “We’ll be taking her.”

What? Take me to where? What are they gonna do, hold me hostage?

I thought no more men would join my brother at this point but just to prove me wrong a younger looking man with very light blonde unruly hair jumped down from one of the high walls around us. I wasn't surprised that he remained unharmed, these people are hardly human, but if not human then what? I noticed how blue his eyes were. They were like sapphire gems.

“To Raven?” The blonde man asked.

“Mhm” was the reply he received.

“No.” Gray’s voice was pained “It’s my sister, I won't let you do this!” He was shouting now and his body was shaking with anger.

“Chill, Raven’s a nice guy. You know him, he wouldn’t do anything.” The brown haired man said coolly.

“You’ve seen him lose his temper. You’ve seen it! You saw what happened to that man, his head-“ His voice became higher and desperate.

“Gray. Enough.” The charcoal haired man interrupted. He turned to me and pointed to himself,

“I’m Ashley.” He then pointed to the blonde man and smirked “That's Angel” he snickered, receiving a death glare from the blonde man.

“And I’m Matthew!” the brown haired man introduced himself with a smile and enthusiasm that I would not be fooled by.

Ashley whipped a blindfold out of his pocket and he smirked at me.

“And today, we shall be kidnapping you, it's only common courtesy to give out your own name before kidnapping someone. Now be a good girl, turn around." The way he said it made it sound like a joke.

Gray’s eyes widened,

“Wha-? What are you going to do?” He was in hysterics.

Ashley held up the blindfold “Take a guess.”

He moved closer and in a second my vision was gone. I felt a pressure on the back of my neck and the last thing I remember was my legs buckling from underneath me.
