Piper's POV
It was Valentine's Day and I was going to the mess hall to grab their really good red velvet cupcakes as a night snack. I snagged two, one for me and another one for Jason. As I walked towards Jason's cabin I caught sight of Reyna running into it. I frowned, why would Reyna go to his cabin? I decided to follow her, and once I was inside I gasped and dropped both cupcakes, Reyna was there KISSING Jason! I couldn't believe it. After all the times Jason had denied liking Reyna... well, there was the proof he actually did. "You TRAITOR!" I screamed at him. Reyna giggled and ran out, I turned back to Jason but instead of yelling at him, I stood silently as my body shook and my tears wet my face.
"Pipes, it's not what you think it is!" Jason started explaining, but I had, had enough of it.
"Don't call me Pipes! ONLY MY FRIENDS CALL ME THAT!" I screamed. Hurt flashed in his eyes, but I didn't care. I ran back to my cabin and stumbled into bed, crying myself to sleep.
I couldn't sleep. Not after what had happened. I checked my clock, 3:30 AM. I have to leave, I have to leave was the only thing that was on my mind. I packed my worn out backpack with food, ambrosia, my dagger and water. I ran out of my cabin but stopped dead when Hazel saw me. She looked confused, "Piper what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Forget this." I said in my most firm voice and using the most powerful charmspeak I could. Hazel's eye's turned glassy and she collapsed. Good. I grabbed a taxi to the airport and went straight to L.A.
