Hazel's POV

We decided to go to the Empire State Building to go ask the gods about Piper. Jason was very anxious, he kept muttering "how much longer," on the plane ride. 

"Hey, Jason. For like, the fifth time already, Piper is going to be fine." I said. He just nodded as usual. 

Frank sighed beside me, he lowered his voice so only I could hear him say, "I'm worried for Jason, I think he's going to explode thinking about Piper".

"Well, yeah, he always loved her from the start". I sighed. I decided I was going to take a nap.

........................FLASHBACK.................................

Piper and I had decided to take a walk to Camp Half-Blood hill. Piper was 10 minutes late so I decided to get her at her cabin. As I got near, I heard a bunch of sobs. I opened the door...

Lacy was crying on the floor holding a picture of Piper. "Oh Piper!" She cried and cradled the picture in her arms.

I rushed forward to comfort her. "Lacy what happened?" I asked. I wish I was prepared for what was to come.

"Piper left us."

"Hazel. Hazel. HAZEL!" Frank yelled. I jumped up in my plane seat. 

"Oh. We're here?" I asked. Frank nodded. I grabbed my suitcase and walked out of the plane. 

We grabbed two taxis to get to the hotel. After dropping off our bags, we walked to the Empire State Building.

Percy's POV

As we walked, a rush of questions went through my head. Will the gods even want to help us? Are they even there? What if they don't know the cure for Piper?  "Hey! Seaweed Brain. Why so glum?" Annabeth asked. I shook my head and then she seemed to understand. 

She sighed. "Every time we think our demigod life has finished, there always seems to be more." I nodded as she continued, "I want a future Percy, you know? I want my future to be with YOU. Not doing quests every few years. You get it?" 

"Totally." To help her feel better, I kissed her and she seemed to perk up a bit. 

We reached the building and went up to the 600th floor. And we finally walked up to the mighty Gods and Goddesses . 

"Jason! Lovely to see you son!" Zeus boomed. Jason turned slightly red in front of his dad.

"It's... uh, nice to see you too Father." He answered. To this day, I still don't understand why demigods don't say "Mom" and "Dad" in front of their godly parent. 

Annabeth was impatient. "Lord Zeus, do you know about the incident with Piper?" As she said this, Aphrodite started to shrink a little.

Zeus stroked his beard which made Leo fidget. "Hmm... actually yes! Aphrodite, would you care to say something about this issue?"

Aphrodite turned tomato red. "Of course my Lord, uh... Piper, as you know has been bewitched by that ugly piece of filth, Enceladus. Seriously, does he have no sense of fashion at all?" 

Zeus growled and said through gritted teeth, "Aphrodite! Back to topic!"

Aphrodite faltered before answering, "Well, right now. Piper has no control of her body whatsoever. There is only one known way for getting Enceladus." We all waited anxiously to hear. Aphrodite started crying and saying, "I can't do it. I'm sorry!"

"What is it?" Leo asked. Hephaestus came into view with a grim expression. He looked at Zeus and Zeus nodded. 

Hephaestus sighed. "This will be hard to process but the only known way to get Enceladus out is to kill the victim Enceladus bewitched and yes... that means you seven will have to kill Piper."

I'm so sorry! I really didn't want to do it but I really loved the idea. Hopefully you guys won't hate and I!
