Piper's POV
"Where are you Piper?" My old bud, Enceladus roared. I rolled my eyes as I pulled my dagger out of my purse and crawled under a table. I signaled to Tyler to slowly come to me but I knew there was no chance he could do that without being noticed. I peeked and saw my old giant friend, there was a nasty scar on his forehead which I realized was the spot I threw the dagger at him when I was trying to save Percy three years ago. I gasped but quickly covered my mouth but I was too late, Enceladus noticed me. He hammered his hammer at the table and I rolled out of there just in time. Just as he was about to hit me again, I grabbed Tyler, stabbed Enceladus' leg and ran out of the room. "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!" Enceladus roared with laughter as his leg formed back into place. Tyler and I ran down the stairs to the lobby where my sort-of-friends were waiting.
"Guys...Enceladus!" I said as they stood up with worried faces.
Hazel frowned, "Enceladus? Didn't he die with Gaea?"
I shook my head, "Apparently not!"
"Yay! More giant killing time? That's my favourite!"Percy pumped and drew out Riptide. BOOM! The receptionist desk blew up.
"Okaay... no more talk time!" Nico yelled as he dodged a nasty looking hammer.
"Tyler! Get out of here! We got them!" I yelled to Tyler.
"But- I'm not leaving you here!" He yelled back. I ran to him and gave him a quick kiss.
"You have to!" I whispered. He gulped and finally agreed,
"Ok. But stay safe ok?" I nodded and he ran onto the street, but before I could turn around a huge hand grabbed my waist and pulled me up. Enceladus had probably grown triple in size and he was as tall as the six story hospital.
"Let me go!" I said with my charmspeak but it didn't work on him.
"Oh little Piper...you see, I've been waiting for this my whole entire life!" He said.
"Let her GO!" I heard Jason yell but Enceladus just laughed.
"My mother would like to have you as the first part of her awakening again!" He said. All my blood drained from my body... Gaea was rising again.
