Percy's POV
I felt bad for my bro Jason, everyday he would just sit beside Piper's limp body crying and whispering things to her. I sighed, and walked out of the room to find Annabeth. "Hey Wise Girl, how ya doing?" I asked as I took her hand. She shrugged and looked at me with her intense grey eyes.
"I'm worried about Piper. She'll never be the same." She started to cry into my shoulder. I cupped her face with my hands and kissed her. When I let go, her eyes were filled with affection.
"We have to believe Piper will be fine. Honestly, Piper's not that weak." Annabeth nodded and I laced my fingers with hers and we walked down the hospital to the hospital lobby. But before we could reach the stairs, I heard a scream. It wasn't Piper. It was Hazel. I looked at Annabeth, she looked scared. Piper's changing had begun.
Hazel's POV
I came into the room into the room to find Jason sitting beside Piper. "Hey Jason, take a rest. You haven't slept for days!" Jason nodded and left the room quietly. I took my place beside Piper until when suddenly her eyes shot open and she said,
"Hello world, I'm back!" I cried happily and tried to hug her but before I could reach her, she kicked me and pinned me onto the floor. I screamed. She put Katropis under my chin and kept saying, "kill, kill, kill!" I looked into her eyes, her kaleidoscope weren't changing colour anymore, they were a sickening shade of blood red.
"Piper please, wake up!" I whimpered but it was no use, Piper lifted her dagger and shot it down aiming for my throat.
