When your cold

Ashton: You shivered again, another cold blast of fall air hitting you. You had worn a sweater, and even a long shirt underneath that but it didn’t do justice for the brisk September air that creeped under your layers sending chills all over your body. You and Ashton had just gone on a double date with Calum and his new girlfriend, and were currently walking hand in hand down the London cobblestone walkway. You gripped his hand tighter, and walked a little closer to his side. He turned his hazel gaze on you and immediately broke out into a knowing smile. “Cold, love?” He asked pulling you against his side and wrapping his strong arm around your waist. You immediately relaxed your tense shoulders as his warmth seeped onto your chilled skin. “It’s unseasonably cold out,” You huffed, wondering how you didn’t see your breath already. “It’s September babe,” He said laughing as you leaned your head against his shoulder. “Besides, I love this weather exactly for this reason,” He said glancing at your close figures. You stifled a laugh. “Did you tell me to underdress so you could do this?” You said just as his arm tightened around your waist, protecting you from the gust of wind that blew across the street. “Why would I do that?” It was easy to tell he was lying but you laughed regardless, wrapping your arm around his waist to draw you two even closer - keeping each other warm.

Calum: “Babe, you’re freezing.” Calum said feeling your cheek as you were curled up in a ball on the couch. You had a horrible cold, or maybe it was the flu, but either way you were sick as a dog. You could only groan as another shiver wracked your body. You already wore a sweater, a pair of sweatpants, and three blankets were piled on top of you but you could not warm up for the life of you. “Come here,” Calum said opening his arms wide, an invitation you would normally gladly accept but now was different. “I’m sick, I don’t want you to get sick and then you can’t sing. And if you can’t sing you can’t perform and the boys will kill me and so will the fans.” You sniffled and hid your chin in your blanket, not moving a muscle as much as it killed you. You did want to cuddle, but your reasoning was correct. You didn’t want to be the culprit in Calum coming down with this hellish sickness. “Screw that,” He said laughing. “I”m going to warm you up regardless, and I know you won’t fight it.” He said walking to the kitchen. You heard clattering and you sighed, sniffing again and wiping your nose with a tissue. He came back with two piping hot cups of tea, sitting them on the coffee table he turned to you. Bending down, he scooped you up with ease, as if you weighed nothing. You protested but he shushed you, sitting back down on the couch he wrapped his arms around you, cradling you against his warm chest. You couldn’t deny that you could already feel his warmth warming you up, and you nuzzled into his chest, just as he tucked the blankets back around you. “See, I told you you’d warm up…” He said running his hand up and down your back. “Sleep babe, I’ve got you.” You closed your eyes, beginning to feel yourself warm up.

Luke: Luke and you had decided it would be romantic to rent a cottage in a remote part of where you lived. It sounded beautiful, and quite romantic but neither of you had planned for the extreme temperature drop that night. It had fallen almost twenty degrees out - enough for you to see your breath. Of course, renting the cottage, you both had no control over the thermostat and had to bare the cold. As you shuffled closer to Luke trying to regain some warmth in your body you stared at the fireplace that was unlit and almost as cold as you were. “Why don’t we try and find some wood around? Get a fire going?” You said. Luke groaned from beside you as you laughed. “But that would mean leaving you, and you’re somewhat warm right now and it’s cold out there.” He whined. “C’mon, I’ll help you.” You didn’t want to get out of your nest as much as he did but you knew that a fire would immediately warm both of you up. You rolled away from him, gasping as your feet touched the cold floor beneath you. You heard Luke gasp as well, knowing he met the same fate. Both shrugging on your light jackets, seeing as neither of you packed a heavier jacket, you made your way outside, finding sticks and large branches; anything that would aid in starting a fire. With both of your arms full, you walked back to the cabin, loading the fireplace with balls of paper and sticks. Luke grabbed a lighter from the table and flicked it trying to catch a piece of paper on fire. You blew gently against it, spurring the spark on until one of the larger branches caught and suddenly the room was cast in a brilliant golden glow. Luke sat back on his heels admiring both of your handiwork before pulling you back to your nest of blankets. You snuggled against him, his arms moving protectively around you as you both watched the crackling of the fire, warming both of you up.

Michael: You had just slid into your shared bed, and rolled over to cuddle with Michael who was lying on his side of the bed. He gladly accepted your cuddle, and you shifted so your legs were touching. “Christ, your feet are freezing (Y/N)!” He said pulling away slightly. “Don’t leave me!” You said as he got out of bed, leaving you to the coldness. “I’ll be right back,” He said laughing, grabbing the blankets you hugged them around you. He came back with a light afghan blanket and draped it over your side of the bed and put your bathrobe over your feet. “If that doesn’t warm you up, I don’t know what will.” He said crawling back into bed. You immediately latched onto him once again snuggling into his warm chest. “If it doesn’t work then I have you.” You said kissing his collarbone. He laughed, pulling you against him, rubbing up and down your arms. “Why are you so cold?” He asked kissing your head. “I have no idea,” You said, his chest muffling your words. “You know… I can warm you up in other ways…” He trailed off suggestively. You slapped his chest playfully, “Go to sleep Michael.” He merely laughed and kissing the top of your head before relaxing against your body.
