Ashton- “Then maybe I should move out!” You yelled at your parents. You had gotten in trouble for coming home late on a date with Ashton. It shouldn’t matter what time you get home anyway. You were 18. “Maybe you should! I’m sick of this from you, Y/N!” Your dad yelled back. This stung a little. Fighting back tears, you ran to your room, throwing clothes in a bag. After double checking to make sure you had everything, you walked out of your room. “Where are you going?” Your mom asked you, looking at the bag you clutched in your hand. You narrowed you your eyes before answering her. “I’m going to stay at Ash’s house for a few days. So, yeah. Bye.” Your grabbed your keys and left the house. When you pulled into Ashton’s driveway, tears pouring down your cheeks, Ashton was standing in the doorway already. Shutting the car off, you stepped out and ran to Ashton, burying your face in his chest. “What’s wrong, Y/N?” He asked, worry coloring his voice. “My-My parents and I got in a fight.” You choked out. He didn’t respond. Instead, he pulled you in his house, sat you on his lap, and turned on re runs of Friends, making you forget why you and your parents got in a fight.
Michael- Fighting with your parents was an everyday thing. Every argument led to you storming out of your house, slamming the door behind you. Normally, you would take a short walk to blow off steam, but today was different. Your parents had kicked you out. Climbing into your car, you turned it on, letting the familiar sound of the engine calm you down. Tears were forming when you got to Michael’s house. Pounding on the door, sobs escaping your trembling lips, Michael opened the door, shocked to see you standing there. “Y/N, love, what are you doing here?” He asked, sleep masking his voice. “Parents kicked me out.” You whispered, sobs escaping. “Oh, honey, come here.” He cooed, pulling you into a hug. His arms held you tight as he walked back into his house. “You can stay with me until your ready to go home.” He said, pulling you onto the bed. “Thank you. So much. I love you.” You said, kissing his cheek. “Anytime. I love you too.” He whispered, humming your favorite song until you fell asleep.
Calum- When you fought with your parents, things got kinda messy. Things thrown and broken, due to anger. The reason you were arguing now was because you didn’t get accepted into the college your parents wanted. “So I got into a music school. It’s still a good school!” You yelled, slamming your fist on the table. “It’s not law though, Y/N! How are you going to get anywhere in life with a music degree?!” Your mom screamed at you. “It’s going to get me very far in life!” You yelled back! “Your boyfriend didn’t even finish school! He’s not very far in life, is he?” Your dad jumped in. “Actually, him dropping out of school was the best thing that’s ever happened to him! He’s currently on tour with his best friends opening for the biggest boy band in the world.” You say, crossing your arms. “He’s still a low life.” Your dad said, making tears come to your eyes. “Don’t every day that again!” You yelled, running to your room. You called Calum in hysterics, telling him everything. He calmed you down and you two talked about you coming down to see him for the rest of the night until you fell asleep.
Luke- Fighting was very rare in your house, but when you and your parents did fight, Luke was always over. Your parents were upset because your always with Luke, but you didn’t see a problem. “Why is it so wrong if I hang out with Luke? I barely get to see him anyways!” You said, trying to be quiet. “He’s over all the time, Y/N!” Your mom yelled, not caring if Luke was in the other room, probably listening to everything. “Mom, it’s not he does anything wrong. He’s a good kid.” You said. “He’s in a band, he’s not a ‘good kid’. Your mom spit, making quotes around ‘good kid’. “He started the fucking band, for Christ sakes! It’s him and his best friends from school! I’m sure they’re not doing anything bad!” You screamed. “I can go, if you want me to.” Luke said, hurt in his voice, which broke your heart. “No. You can stay. I’m done talking about this.” You say to your mom, grabbing Luke’s hand and pulling him out of the room. In the safety of your bedroom, you broke down. “I’m so sick of her bashing you all the time.” You said between sobs. He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close. “I’m never going to hurt you. You and I both that, and someday, your mum will see that too. It just takes time.” He said, gently stroking your back. “I know, but it still hurts.” You mumbled against his chest. “I know. Hey, lets watch tv until I have to go home.” He suggested, pulling you onto the bed. You guys cuddled and watched lame movies on the Sundance channel until he had to leave.
