Harry has always had trouble with love. Most of the girls he’s been linked to have broke his heart or just weren’t the one for him. So when you started dating him and you told him you loved him first, it scared him. He was so afraid you were going to believe all the rumors that were out there about him and realized you didn’t love him. So one day his car was in the shop so he asked to borrow yours so he could go to the store. Of course you said yes but when he asked you to go, you said you couldn’t because you had to get some stuff done around the house before your parents came for a visit. He promised he would be quick and was off. When he jumped in your car and started it up, your radio came on. He laughed because he told you many times over and over again to make sure you shut it off. You had a mixed CD in your player and he decided to keep it on, to see what you were listening to these days. He heard the beginning of a song he’s never heard before so he kept it on. As the song went on and he listened to the lyrics tears filled his eyes. The song was ‘Like I Am.’ The song was over by the time he got to the store. By the time he stopped the car tears were flowing freely down his cheeks. He wiped them quickly and headed inside the store for the stuff he needed to make your favorite red velvet cake. Once he had everything and was check out, he walked back to the car that song still on his mind. The words to the song were stuck in his mind. It was everything he felt about you and more. You loved him no matter what you were told or what others thought of him. He never understood why but he didn’t care. He just wanted to be that man because you loved him like he was flaws and all. Once he was home he ran inside forgetting all the things he bought in the store in the car. When he saw you standing in the kitchen loading the dish washer his love for you was over flowing. You heard the door shut and turned to see him. He walked straight over to you and wrapped you in a tight hug tears slipping down his cheeks.

            “Are you okay Haz?” You asked pulling away your fingertips wiping his tears away.

            “You’re the most amazing person who’s ever been in my life.” He began. “And even though I have no idea why you love me or say why I’m one of a kind, I promise I’ll try and be that kind of man, because you love me like I am.”

Tears now were running down your cheeks.

            “I love you so much.” You whispered. “I love you more than life and I love you for you. You’re perfect.”

He leaned his forehead against yours before saying, “You’re the perfect one.”

You giggled before saying, “We can be perfect together.”

            “I love you my sweet girl.”

            “And I love you my sweet Haz.”
